Eisbach - Munich's unique river surf!
If you want to learn something special while having a unique travel experience, come and try river surfing! There are different waves for all skill levels! Meeting at the wave, we'll get into the wetsuit, learn some basic rules within minutes. Right after that, you'll get the chance to spend 45min on the water. Changing afterwards again takes a couple of minutes and if you're keen we finish of by having some tea or beer in my favorite little cafe close-by. Other things to note - you need to know how to swim - not kidding: I had people interested who were not able to swim and still wanted to surf...
Munich - A History of War and Peace
Meet me for a world history walk in Munich and dive into a past of war and peace. We will stand, where the celebrations of the breakout of World War I - the "great seminal catastrophe" of the 20th century - took place and where Hitler's Beer Hall Putsch ended in gunfire. We will learn, why the Nazis called Munich "the capital of the movement" and why the era between 1914-1945 is rightly considered the 2nd Thirty Years War. We will talk about Napoleon and his huge impact on German identity and unification and learn, how these disastrous wars of the past defined our new today and times of peace. This will be a high level lecture from a real expert and I promise you that these two hours will still leave you confused at the end - but on a much higher level. Because I always want to encourage dialogue and the exchange of views, knowledge and philosophical thoughts about history and mankind, our groups are always small and non-touristy. PLEASE NOTE: The length of the tour sometimes depends on the size of the group and the amount of questions - so maybe count in +/- 15-20 minutes. Please feel free to ask me about a private or unscheduled tour.
Tour with Beers, Beer tasting, Museum and Dinner
With as many or as few beers as you wish and after a Leberkas Semmel(vegan option being potatoe salad and pretzel)with sweet mustard we will take in many of the main old city sites, Marienplatz, food market, beer halls and churches, all whilst talking about the significance beer has had on the lives of peoples through the ages, talk about the traditional Bavarian dress and customs and of course the Oktoberfest. Munich's famous beer garden culture and styles of beer will be detailed and lots of other beery places for you to explore on your own at a later point will be highlighted. Then to the beatifully, newly refurbished Beer and Oktoberfest Museum Stubl for a beer tasting and dinner of a mixed meaty platter,(veg/vegan upon request)followed by a private tour through the museum itself. Via special access to the museum, which is closed at that time to the general public, the origins and developments of the Oktoberfest, refrigeration and beer marketing, amongst a number of topics to be covered. The dinner provided can vary, however, generally large platters as illustrated. Vege and vegan options also available. We'll meet at the bottom of the Glockenspiel Tower of the new town hall on Marienplatz (the old gothic looking tower with the figures half way up) and go from there…beer upon arrival and Leberkas shortly after. Looking forward to showing you around!

Prosit! - Party at the Oktoberfest
Each experience will last around 6 hours. I made some evening reservations in Oktoberfest tents. Only in the evening you´ll have the real Oktoberfest experience. Most tents are closed in the evening and Saturday afternoon because they are packed. Only people with a reservation will get in. As rules, time slots and prices vary from tent to tent, please ask me for details before you’ll book an experience. There are some more slots available than published on Airbnb. If your preferred day is already fully booked, please send me an email. Lets dance on the benches and sing Oktoberfest songs! Let's spend a great time together at the biggest party in the world! If you are still in the mood to party when our tent will close, we will join one of many After Oktoberfest parties which take place all over Munich. The entrance fee for the After party is not included. I love the Oktoberfest and I know the best "After Oktoberfest" parties. Try to come on a working day. Tents and after parties are packed every day, however on Friday and Saturday it is crazy. On these days there are long waiting lines everywhere.
Party at Munich’s „Little Oktoberfest"
Did you miss the Oktoberfest? No problem! There is another opportunity to enjoy the Oktoberfest atmosphere: Munich’s Spring Festival called „Little Oktoberfest“. It takes place at Theresienwiese, the home of the Oktoberfest. Many foreigners don't know about it and ignore it. So you’ll be part of a quite local experience. I made reservations for tables in the first row, just in front of the band, from 5pm until 10:30pm in a traditional beer tent. Let´s enjoy traditional Bavarian food! Let´s sing Oktoberfest songs and dance on the benches to the sound of Oktoberfest bands! Let´s enjoy an unforgettable party! You will be part of an international group of beer and party fans. It is no fun to go there alone or as couple. You have to be part of a group in order to enjoy the party atmosphere. All Saturday evenings are already sold out. Without reservation you won't get access into the tents.
Queer Oktoberfest
It's that time of the year! And now COVID-19 can't stop us to celebrate THE beer festival Oktoberfest. This year I managed to snatch great tables: for queer parties on Sunday morning and Monday evening so get ready for awesome vibes. I reserved 2 tables for 10 people each and would love to welcome you guys from all over the World. We will have 5 hours to get to know each other and hear the story about the origins of Oktoberfest and its queer side while drinking beer and eating some Bavarian delicacies. In between we will play some fun games and walk around the amusement park and the brave ones can try one of the many rollercoasters. At night you’re welcome to join me on my second experience “Night-out in LGBT district”.
