“The Miami Circle, also known as The Miami River Circle, Brickell Point, or The Miami Circle at Brickell Point Site, is an archaeological site in Downtown Miami, Florida. It consists of a perfect circle measuring 38 feet (11.5m) of 600 postmolds that contain 24 holes or basins cut into the limestone bedrock, on a coastal spit of land, surrounded by a large number of other 'minor' holes. It is the only known evidence of a prehistoric permanent structure cut into the bedrock in the Eastern United States, and considerably predates other known permanent settlements on the East Coast.”

Route
“The Miami Riverwalk is a pedestrian walkway located in Downtown Miami, Florida. It extends along the north side of the Miami River and the Biscayne Bay through Bayfront Park. It begins at Bayside Marketplace and ends at the Riverwalk Metromover Station and is about one mile long.[1] The Riverwalk is a part of a broader project known as the Miami River Greenway which also includes an incomplete greenway on along the south side of the river.[2] Many shops and cafes are located along the riverwalk, and it was recently redone with public artwork.[3] The riverwalk passes under the Brickell Avenue Bridge, built in 1915, carrying Brickell Avenue. The Riverwalk itself was built in the 1980s.[4] Since 2008, the Miami Riverwalk Festival has been held in November,[5] which includes a lot of free and cultural entertainment.”
