“Located minutes away in historic Cedar-Lee District (walkable), for more than three decades the words "Cedar Lee Theatre" and "specialty film" have been synonymous in Cleveland. Ushering in and maintaining an era when specialty film would transcend art-house appeal, and coupled with its unique concession stand the first to offer baked goods, sandwiches, specialty coffee drinks, and imported beer and wine, the Cedar Lee Theatre continues to be the movie theater of choice for many Greater Clevelanders.”

“Nighttown is the real deal. It’s a real joint where, if you were lucky enough to be there, you could have sat in front of the Count Basie Orchestra so close that the trombone would’ve bopped you in the nose. Or maybe you saw Freddy Cole, Jane Monheit, John Pizzarelli, Brian Auger, Ann Hampton Callaway, Tommy Tune, Basia, Cyrille Aimee, Esperanza Spaulding, Dick Cavett, Dick Gregory, Eliane Elias, Renee Rosnes, Stevie Wonder or John Legend look you right in the eye as they sang or spoke from just a few feet away. ”

“You can build your own gourmet hot dogs with options of nearly 50 toppings. This large vintage oval bar from the 1940s is a hip neighborhood spot. At 9 PM the space turns into a concert club with a cover supporting a lineup of local and touring musicians. It does a trivia night on Monday, and has some other unique programming as well. It is a fixture of the Gordon Square area of Detroit Shoreway. ”
