Arts & Crafts Store
“Everything from vintage seltzer bottles to coffee tables to cutting boards is available at this fun-to-browse marketplace. Great for a rainy day, and the savory scones and donuts at the cafe next door are terrific.”

Museum
“Built in 1846 and currently under restoration, this historic house was part of the Underground Railroad and is a significant chapter in the Afro-American history in Cape May. A former slave, Stephen Smith was a successful businessman and philanthropist, who during his lifetime was said to be the wealthiest Black American in the nation. He established the first home in the United States for aged and indigent Colored people and helped to free hundreds of slaves. The non-profit was founded in 2014 and offers private tours on request of the home and garden. It is also included as a stop on the Underground Railroad Trolley Tour. ”

Museum
“Also called the Cape May Fire Department Museum (depends on whether you are in Google or Trip Advisor), this small but interesting museum is a great stop while in town. Vintage fire engine trucks, memorabilia, photographs, equipment, stories about local fires and the firefighters who fought them, patches from departments across the country and more.”
