“ A trip to Broulee should always include a walk around Broulee Island which can be accessed walking up North Broulee Beach or parking at South Broulee carpark and walking towards the beach to the rock platform that leads to a quiet sheltered beach and the sand-spit connecting to Broulee Island. The island holds many secrets, including the ruins of a hotel and sea port railway. Now reclaimed by native bush and birds, the walk around the island is roughly 4kms and takes you through a magnificent and dynamic coastal landscape.”
