Museum
“A wonderful historic museum dedicated to the Titanic. It has actual items from the Titanic. There is a replica of the Titanic that I recall cost more money to make than the actual ship. This really is an amazing place to take your older kids.”

“If you haven't tried the all-you-can-eat Sunday Brunch at the Keeter Center then you are missing out. It's expensive, it's only on Sunday, and you must make reservations but the food and service is excellent. Not only do you get a wide variety of foods grown and prepared fresh right there at the College of the Ozarks, you get entertainment from a wide range of student musical talent.”

“A wonderful, cozy locally owned place with the most incredible desserts and lunches. A little pricey but worth the extra money for the ambiance and quality of the food you'll get. A Key Lime Pie that is off the charts delicious. ”

“Gettin' Basted is relatively new to Branson, but it's already rackin' up the BBQ competition honors! Starting with a simple food truck, then finding a temporary home in the Starlite Theatre, they've now moved into a more spacious permanent home on Branson's Strip. They excel at cookin' up beef, pork, chicken, sausage, and other tasty meat treats - for true Q lovers, everything on the menu is a better-than-safe bet! For starters, the Basted Nachos come highly recommended, and are filling enough for a meal. Salads include the popular Burnt & Bleu Salad featuring burnt ends, bleu cheese, and "jalleiujah" jalapeno vinaigrette dressing. Burger selections include the Moink with pulled pork, and popular sandwiches are those with names representing famous BBQ destinations, like Austin, Memphis, St. Louis, and Miami. Sides are plentiful, including Onionpeno Straws and Pork Rinds, Premium Sides include Poblano Cream Corn Brule, and toppings include Fried Egg, Cole Slaw, and Pepperjack Sauce. And make sure you try a Specialty Plate, like the Chicken & Waffle Waffles! Gettin' Basted took home the top prize out of 63 competing teams at the 2012 Roots 'n Blues BBQ in Columbia, Missouri, and were Grand Champions at the 2013 Rock 'n Ribs Festival in Springfield. They also cater and offer cooking classes, perfect for both the BBQ newbie and long-time meat grillers. Now that you're belly's growlin', head to Branson and grab a seat at Gettin' Basted!”

“The nearby village of Hollister is home to Vintage Paris, a great, cozy second-wave coffee house serving third-wave-quality coffee. (Note they cater to the nearby College of the Ozarks crowd, so they aren't open early but stay open late.)”

“For a standard American cheeseburger and fries, you can't go wrong with Billy Bob's Dairyland, which feels like an old-fashioned malt shop (cash only). Simple but executed well with quality ingredients.”

“Thai Thai Cuisine is Branson's only Thai restaurant, so it's a really good thing that it's an excellent place to eat! An easy-to-follow menu makes ordering simple for both lunch and dinner, and everything can be prepared as hot - or not - as you like it, using a scale from 1 to 5. You can start your meal with a variety of options, including Chicken Satay, Spring Rolls (which get high marks from loyal guests,) and Deep Fried Calamari. There are only a couple of salad options, but both are substantial as a meal - one made with ground chicken - LARB Salad - and the other with sliced beef - Beef Salad. There are four options for soup, including a traditional Won Ton, and a hefty Fisherman Soup, a spicy and sour concoction that includes shrimp, calamari, fish, scallop, sea fungus, kaffir leaf, and basil. Lunches come with white rice and are numbered for easy ordering - popular choices include the Pahd Eggplant and the Spicy Noodles. For dinner, try one of their fish and seafood options, including Tilapia with Ginger, or a Curry in Red, Yellow, or Green. Thai Thai desserts include treats like Coconut Ice Cream and Mango Sticky Rice. Great service, cozy atmosphere, and attentive service complement the delightful meal you'll have at Branson's Thai Thai Cuisine!”
