* Staying at my place is almost 50% cheaper than most hotels in Tarawa. On top of this, we provide 10% discount for 1 week stay and 20% for 1 month stay.
* With the owner living abroad, you will have the whole house and compound to yourself.
* The neighbourhood is quiet and safe with expatriates renting 3 other next door houses.
* It has air conditioning, Sky TV, kitchen with fridge, stove and cooking utensils; and an outdoor laundry with a new washing machine.
My house used to be rented by expatriates who come to work in Kiribati, but since 2017 we have opened it up to shorter-term visitors via AirBnB. Since then we have had guests almost every month mainly from the UK, NZ, Canada and Australia staying at the house.
Many of our guests are business travellers coming for work-related activities who have actually been staying at hotels/motels before opting to move into the house for a quieter, cheaper and more home-like stay in Tarawa.
The house has screened windows and doors to keep mosquitoes and flies out and it also has air conditioning. The neighbours are expatriates working in Kiribati who rent 3 other next door houses
You won't miss your favourite news and sports programmes with a 25-channel Sky Pacific TV available at the house.
The house is situated in a quiet location (Antenon) at the ocean side, not far from the University of the South Pacific Kiribati Centre and the Kiribati parliament building (both less than 5 minutes drive from the house). It is less than 10 minutes drive from the town centre, Bairiki, and just walking distance from Fema Lodge.
The house is fully fenced and neighbours are expatriates from New Zealand and Australia working in Kiribati who rent 3 other houses nextdoor.
My house and the 3 next door houses rented by expatriates are within the same compound and secluded by fencing from other houses in the area.
Fun little place that is great accommodations on Tarawa. Off the main road but with a small ocean view. We would happily rent again.
