Library
“ Not sure why it is being labeled as a library, but getting into the White House is only accessible through tours, which can be registered for online. However, if visitors would like to see the president’s residence from the outside, then it’s an easy walk down Pennsylvania Avenue NW between 15th St. NW and 17th St. NW. There, parties can take pictures with the White House in the backdrop and scream obscenities at, or praises for, Trump through the fence! ”

“Go to the top to get the best views in the city. The Washington Monument is an obelisk on the National Mall in Washington, D.C., built to commemorate George Washington, once commander-in-chief of the Continental Army and the first President of the United States. Located almost due east of the Reflecting Pool and the Lincoln Memorial,[2] the monument, made of marble, granite, and bluestone gneiss,[3] is both the world's tallest predominantly stone structure and the world's tallest obelisk,[A] standing 554 feet 7 11⁄32 inches (169.046 m) tall according to the U.S. National Geodetic Survey (measured 2013–14) or 555 feet 5 1⁄8 inches (169.294 m) tall according to the National Park Service (measured 1884).[B] It is the tallest monumental column in the world if all are measured above their pedestrian entrances.[A] Overtaking the Cologne Cathedral, it was the tallest structure in the world between 1884 and 1889, after which it was overtaken by the Eiffel Tower in Paris.”

“A charming area with Federal-style architecture, cobblestone streets and fashion and design shops. The dining scene is defined by upmarket restaurants and waterfront seafood spots, while nightlife spans boisterous college bars, traditional taverns and intimate live music lounges. Georgetown Waterfront Park has a riverside promenade and gardens, and there's a bike path along the C&O Canal.”

“I recommend seeing this place at night. All the monuments are beautifully lit up, relatively walkable between each other, and it is so much less crowded and cool at night than during the day. Either side of the statue has his Inauguration Speech and his Gettysburg Address which are emotional and somehow never becomes irrelevant to current events. Across the reflecting pool from the Washington Monument and the US Capitol building, it's a stop along the National Mall that you have to see. ”

“This spot is arguably one of the best pho places in the area. If you're looking for a "fine dining" experience this probably won't be for you, but if you're there for the food I can say you won't be disappointed! Pretty good price for an amazing bowl of comfort and goodness! *CASH ONLY*”

“Care for a side of socialism with that? Friendly service, leftist leanings and great food and drinks, where the activists gather to eat, subvert the system and plan the revolution. Monday Nights - Open Mic, Tuesday is Comedy Night! Several unique locations throughout DC area, but this one is five minutes away. Owned by rabid social entrepreneur and someday mayor of Washington, DC, Andy Shalal, who says Busboys is "a community where racial and cultural connections are consciously uplifted . . . a place to take a deliberate pause and feed your mind, body and soul… a space for art, culture and politics to intentionally collide . . . we believe that by creating such a space we can inspire social change and begin to transform our community and the world."”
