This bright sunny apartment is in quite literally the most convenient location for quick access to the whole city. Made to be cozy and hospitable with everything you need to feel like a local living in style.
A vintage building was taken on by an interior designer that has capitalized on the rustic "DIY" trend, white washing the floors, adding color and accent wood paneling, brightening the space. Enjoy being in the most convenient location in all of New York, while still having a tucked-away private space and cabin vibe. Feel at home with a window-side office, open-plan bedroom + living room, kitchen + dining room, and spacious bathroom with tub. The bed (with comfy down topper) is actually a futon that can be folded into a couch to make the bedroom a living room, should you choose (with a projector to turn your laptop into a movie theatre)!
Keys are kept at the 24hr deli across the street in a lockbox system to which you'll be given your own code.
Once inside, you'll find slippers, toothpaste, a toothbrush, shampoo and Dr. Bronner's soap, along with a set of ear plugs, as a few light-sleeping guests have said they weren't used to the urban hum. Feel free within reason to use anything else you should need!
I'll be three blocks away should you need anything!
You can find this apartment on Apartment Therapy, along with other homes by the same designer.
1) Our older grumpy back apartment neighbor is named Anthony and he often sits in a lawn chair on the sidewalk near the door. He complains when people he doesn't know come into the building without introducing themselves and/or at least saying a friendly hello. Please try and be courteous, etc! :)
2) No shoes inside the apartment, please!

I am an interior stylist, actor, dancer, singer, photographer, teacher and professional connector (casting director, PR/marketing). Having grown up in Chicago, I've since felt at home in many countries, cities, towns and terrains, and am proud to now be settling in both California and New York. Welcome to my ongoing idea of cozy!
