Dear Sona, I understand it rained most of the weekend so that this can be very disappointing to your weekend plans. I have contacted AirBnB and asked them to change the name of the highway since they were the ones that changed Hwy. 60 to Ontario 60, since the road we are on, is an Ontario Highway. But, with the name, location circle is accurate on the listing on Lake Peninsula and there were very details driving directions included with our listing.
With our listing, it correctly states that there are 4 "double" beds. The bed sizes were made available for you prior to reserving to determine if this is the right cottage for you. We state 8 guests because that is the maximum that is allowed to stay in the cottage. Most guests will determine what is comfortable to them based on the number of beds and bed sizes available.
Mother nature was not kind to all the cottages on the shore this spring. The ice on the lake just went out this week and took out our dock and everyone along the lake. We are just now assessing the damages to determine the best way to repair it. We intend to have it up and repaired by summer. Repairs in cottages country are depended on limited contractors, but we are putting an urgency on this matter.
Wood is available daily to the cottages and to the firepit, plus we have staff that to empty garbage and recycle plus we have community bins you are welcome to use which are located within 20 meters from your cottage. Staff are available to help you with this service from 8am-7pm. It helps us if you notify us that your bins require emptying during your weekend stay.
This cottage "Fredly" is not advertised as having a kitchen so if a kitchen is important on your holiday we have 10 other suitable cottages that include a full kitchen. Once again, barbecues were not included with your rental but we do offer a service to rent barbecues for 10$ day. Barbecues were not listed as included with your cottage.
