ที่พัก

Ideally located right in the centre of Paris, comfortable studio (25m2/270sq ft), in 17th century building, renovated in 2015.
The studio is located in the fashionable Montorgueil area of Paris' 2nd arrondissement. The area is famous for its pedestrian streets, packed with small boutiques, cafes and restaurants. Just 5 minutes walk from the Pompidou centre and Le Marais, and 10 min walk to the Louvre, Notre Dame cathedral and other sites. There are 3 metro stations within 5min walk including Chatelet-Les Halles for direct travel to CDG and Orly airports as well as Eurodisney.
The apartment is fully renovated, very practical and clean. It includes a bedroom/living room with a real double bed (140cm, 55") a comfortable quality sofa bed (160cm, 63") and three large windows looking onto an inner courtyard. There is also a separate kitchen area, and a bathroom.
Free (and fast) wifi internet is available, towels and bed linen provided.
The apartment sleeps 2 comfortably in the double bed and can sleep up to 4 people when the sofa bed is folded out. Note however that once the large sofa bed is opened out there is very limited space to walk around, so you may find it difficult for longer stays.
I live in the apartment next door so I'm very flexible with times if arriving late in the evening, or if extra towels, translation help, transport explanation etc is needed I'm happy to help.
I do travel quite often though, so if I am not around I have friends nearby that can help.
The area is full of restaurants, cafes, bars and clubs, yet the apartment is completely noise free which is quite surprising in the heart of a city.
Bear in mind that the studio is on the 3rd floor without a lift, particularly if you have a lot of luggage.

Here are a list of possible walks I suggest you try in Paris if you are here for the first time and have time to visit the sighs.
I take people on these itineraries so I have added the average time (and cost if you'd like me to accompany you), however time will depend on a lot of variables and it doesn't include going into museums/sights.

Overall cozy apartment with a great location and easy access to public transportation. There are several flights of stairs; prepare yourself mentally. Francisco was a wonderful host, coordinating for us to keep our luggage in the apartment prior to our check in.

This apartment is great if you are just using the room to sleep and are on-the-go most of the day. The location is excellent among many small cafes and shops. Nightlife is plentiful and right outside your door! Walking distance to the major attractions and public transportation. There is very little noise from the street. Good value for the location.

Great neighborhood. Very close to metro and rer, so getting around and to/from airports was super easy There are a lot of steps to go up and a tall bathtub, so if you have accessibility issues, this might not be the best place stay

Hi/Salut/Hola/Ola/Ciao/Merhaba/Salam/Namaste

I am half Spanish and half British, I worked as a project manager until recently and now leading walking holidays around the world with a UK based company. I love to travel and learning about world cultures. I've been based in Paris for 10 years, lived in the UK and Spain for many years, and also in Brazil and Turkey.

I love the idea of Airbnb as I really enjoy meeting interesting and open minded people from all over the world and sharing travel experiences. I have made a lot of great new friends.
I'll be happy to help you plan your stay in Paris in whatever way I can: language questions, transport information, recommendations on sights, restaurants, clubs, cafes...etc.
When I'm not in Paris my friends Lucky and Philippe will be available for any help you need, and I'm always just a phone call/instant message/email way.

Above all, enjoy your trips to this beautiful city!
