This was my first stay at airbnb. I got a little lost in the communications regarding directions about the apartment. Not directions to apartment, just where to find the apartment itself once we got to the building. Took me a while to figure it out. The same for directions to key location, in the end we found it. What is not evident from the listing is that the apartment is on the 3rd floor with about 7 flights up. Not a problem. Windows from the apartment are facing a quiet courtyard which is very nice. Another item of note is that there is a huge market/farmer's market on the entire street where this apartment is located. It is a great bonus in terms of food. Fresh fruit and vegetables, fresh bread, cheeses, etc. Other things too. This also means that cab can't get to the building, but it can drop you off on a nearest street. Again, not too far and not a problem. Market closes late, after 7pm, opens after 7 am. Can't be any more precise as we left at 7am and it did n't start yet. Market is only on Tuesday and Friday. The bed is about queen size US. There is no table at the apartment. Location is very good and only 5 stops from Alexanderplaz. Direct line. Supermarkets are nearby. Large bathroom and smaller kitchen. Typical studio student apartment but larger. A note for those who have never been to Germany: the beds are very firm. Really firm. All in all, the stay was very pleasant. Thank you
Our stay at Cloed's apartment was very great. The location could not be better, as the apartment is in a very nice area of Berlin that has an awesome street market right out front during the weekends. Also there are many great restaurants and coffee shops within walking distance. Cloed was very helpful with the check-in process and even provided us with detailed instructions on how to reach the flat from the main bus terminal. I would recommend to anyone looking for a place to stay in Berlin!
