This funky, rustic beach shack was built in 1975.

This relaxing holiday home is the perfect oasis away from the hustle and bustle of city life. Come and enjoy this holiday home set on a tropical nature reserve 100 meters from the waters edge at North Avoca.

North Avoca Beach is positioned between Avoca and Terrigal Beaches and offers the ultimate in surfing conditions and the ideal location for a beach walk.

A short distance away is Terrigal Beach, one of the best known beaches on the NSW Central Coast. Terrigal Beach is a cosmopolitan seaside town with magnificent pine trees, alfresco dining and a shopping strip of boutique stores. Terrigal beach is patrolled by surf rescue teams all year round, so provides a safe swimming environment for young families. "The Haven" is Terrigal's small harbour and is a popular place to dive.

The house will be exclusively yours for the duration of your stay and is perfect for families and friends who want to enjoy a vacation in this stunning coastal enclave. The house is located in a beautiful nature reserve, situated next to one of the most picturesque waterways in the area. There is no lawn surrounding the house but just natural bush. As you are so close to North Avoca Beach you have ample space to relax in an outdoor setting a short distance away. If you want manicured lawns this is not the place for you. You can enjoy the peaceful bush setting with lake glimpses from the outdoor back deck area adjoining the home (pictures included). The design of this eclectic and unique home is based on the Beachcomber houses of the 1970's with large windows, great layout and wooden ceiling beams. The house has 3 bedrooms, kitchen, dining room, bathroom and separate toilet and downstairs laundry with undercover washing line.
The bedding configuration is as follows:

Bedroom 1: Queen bed
Bedroom 2: Double bed
Bedroom 3: 2 x single beds

Please note that as this is self catering accommodation no consumables are provided as part of the booking. Tea, coffee, sugar, milk, toilet paper, toiletries etc are all to be provided by guests.
Cleaning products are provided, tea towels and kitchen cloths.
Bedding and bath towels are all provided by the host. Beds will be made up prior to your arrival.
Beach towels are to be provided by the guests.

No dishwasher.

Also over Xmas and new year from 23/24th December to 13/14th January we have a 7 night minimum policy over the following 3 weeks but we are flexible to move days a day either side if it works out that way:
23/or 24/12/17 to 30/or (PHONE NUMBER HIDDEN) to 6/or 7/1/18.
6/or 7/1/18 to 13/or 14/1/18.

Please note that we cannot provide a left luggage service prior to check-in or after check-out.
A late checkout Sunday is possible if staying only a two night weekend outside of busy summer holiday season or provided no other people are booked to arrive Sunday.

No animals are allowed at the property.

* No smoking inside
* No parties please (neighbours phone us if there is excessive noise and we'd like to avoid these phone calls as I'm sure you understand :-) If we get noise complaints the full bond is automatically forfeited by the guest.
* Guests must remove all rubbish from the property prior to the end of the booking. The house must be left in a clean and tidy manner at the end of a booking. Failure to do so will incur an additional charge of $200.
Note we have a new washing machine in downstairs laundry and undercover washing line.

Accomodation with a lot of character. Sally was prompt in responding. Concerns were raised by the host about having six people stay at this accomodation however it was it was suitable for six people providing guests are noise conscious and are happy to be in close proximity of each other for the visit.

Thankyou Chris . It was if you had seven people as you asked, that I was concerned about as 6 is our limit as we say on site.. And one young guy a year ago partied with loads of visitors so I always reiterate the need to respect eighbours late in eve but you were all very respectful.

Even through we did not meet Sally, she was a lovely and responsive host. The place is how most people describe it- rustic and quirky. I think it has character and a tasteful 70's nostalgic feel. Our kids have been spoiled with a dishwasher so they got to learn how to wash dishes the old fashioned way - which they enjoyed. The outlook from living room and back deck was very green, peaceful and private. The place could have some minor improvements to increase the level of comfort.

Thankyou for your feedback Wayne and as site said we have no wifi or dishwasher so I suggest if people want there items that it may be better to rent elsewhere and the cost would rise if these were provided especially to install a dishwasher as it's not upmarket accomodation as site says and a dishwasher would involve doing a kitchen Reno and increasing cupboard space which we won't be doing for now

Cool retro jungle house, if you want Trump Tower go elsewhere, this is a rustic gem!

The house is quite old and could do with a bit of renovation work but we had a pleasant stay overall and the location was great.

Myself and four friends had the most marvellous stay! The house is gorgeous and quirky, very clean and well dusted, and we found it to be exactly as described. Sally is a great host and very helpful. Will be coming back to stay again for sure. Would recommend to all, especially at such a great price. Thanks Sally!!!

The house is so nice for nature-lovers, but you need the car to get the beach and all shops. The house has everything you need.

Very Old but nice. Back to nature with the backyard views. We had visit from water dragons and few parrots never seen before. You can have a walk around the lake. Terrigal is only 3 minutes by car and easy to park with the free car park in the city center.
