The most amazing thing about this property is the easy waterfront access and spectacular views. If you know Orcas Island at all, you come to realize that low-bank waterfront homes are hard to find. Our cabin is waterfront, and has just a few steps down to the beach. There are many things to do on Orcas, but we find just being at the cabin is wonderful. We see otters, seals, eagles and waterfowl, and deer, literally every day.
We also have an older solar-heated pool available in summer.
Charming knotty pine WATERFRONT home on Orcas Island with an INCREDIBLE VIEW!! Seasonal pool (older system). Steps to beach, kayaks/canoe/paddle board, fire pit, large yard, and wildlife all around! Relax or explore the wonders of Orcas!
This is a comfortable, charming waterfront home. We have the most amazing views!
2 bedrooms with queen beds, and 1 double sofa/bed in the bonus room, an Areobed and some sleeping pads.
1 bathroom with shower/tub and washer & dryer.
The house is knotty pine throughout and very comfortable.
The in-ground pool in the fenced backyard is a solar powered, older system and would require some instructions, but great in the summer (seasonal usage only).
There is a big deck and also a lower "beach deck" to be able to gaze at the SPECTACULAR view of the sound and Mt. Baker. Just steps to the beach!
Lots of wildlife (eagles, seals, river otters, deer, wild turkey...) to see.
4 kayaks, 1 canoe and 1 paddle board to enjoy at no e

We, Larry and Liz Pollock, currently live on Camano Island in WA state. We purchased our dream place on Orcas Island over 25 years ago after falling in love with each other and with the island. Our cabin home was previously part of the Buckhorn Lodge back in the 1930s, and used as a fishing resort destination.
We love Orcas so much, we even got married at the little chapel in Eastsound and had our reception right at the cabin. Lovely!
