I am offering this bright and spacious, 78 square meter apartment in Vienna-Josefstadt for 1-3 people looking to enjoy their stay in the beautiful Austrian capital city.
My charming apartment features a bedroom furnished with a comfortable double bed and plenty of space to store all of your clothing and belongings. An en-suite bathroom is present for your use, as is a private office with laptop workplace and shelves and a kitchen equipped for your meal preparation-needs. You will find a new stove and oven (which is not yet on the photos), coffee maker, water boiler, cooking equipment... On nice days, feel free to get a bit of fresh air on the cosy balcony, or take a bit of time to relax in the inviting living room with its new sofa chosen for comfort (extendable to a double bed and ideal for your guests).
The apartment is located just outside the first district, 5 minutes to City Hall. Vienna university, the modern Museumsquartier, the Imperial Palace (Hofburg) and other sights in the first district are also within walking distance. You can reach it by metro U2 (Rathaus or Volkstheater) or U6 (Josefstädterstraße). The eighth district where I live is quiet and safe, but you can there are also many Cafés and restaurants to enjoy nearby, supermarkets are around the corner and you can find nice shops in the vicinity in almost every direction. A short walk will take you to the trendy 7th district, which is great for spending time in chic cafés and for shopping.
W-Lan is of course included. If you are in Vienna for work you will also enjoy how quiet the apartment is and that there is an extra office with a desk where you can work without any disturbances.
You can also read one of my books and use spices, tea and anything else you need in the kitchen so you really can feel at home.
Up to two children under ten stay for free. In 2017 this goes for the second and third person in general (not only for children.

Sometimes I will be there to meet you and at other times a good friend of mine will welcome you because I spend a lot of time abroad myself. You can reach me quickly by email or (SENSITIVE CONTENTS HIDDEN) if you have any questions during your stay.
There is cleaning between the bookings, but please leave kitchen and bathroom as you would like to find them. SMOKING IS ONLY ALLOWED ON THE BALCONY. Please don't forget to close the windows when it's raining hard and to turn off the lights when you leave the apartment. I trust in your common sense and that you will treat my place as you would wish others to treat yours. How to reach the apartment: From airport Vienna:
New option since Dec. 2015: airport bus directly to Rathaus!
Cheapest: S7 to Praterstern, U2 to Rathaus
Most comfortable: Pre-ordered pick up airport taxi (many companies on the internet)
From Westbahnhof: U3 Volkstheater, U2 Rathaus (alternative: walking from Volkstheater)
By car: leave car in the outskirts of Vienna (like Ottakring park and ride) or the more pricey parking garages nearby (for instance in Lerchenfelderstraße which is just around the corner).
The metro stop closest to the apartment is Rathaus (U2).
In Vienna most shops and supermarkets are closed on weekends, holidays and in the evenings. In these cases I recommend taking advantage of the airport supermarket (before you leave the airport to go down to the trains on the left side). There are also open restaurants and fast food places near the flat.
