This nice house – a massive construction – stands separately at the back of our property in the street Am Wasserturm 11 – the highest point of Celle. The house renovated in 2011 has three rooms, a shower-bath with toilet and a kitchen. In the kitchen cooking, baking and eating is possible. The whole house is for rent, with two practically furnished rooms for two by two persons. The house has a central heating. In one of the rooms there is a fireplace for comfortable hours.
We make a baby-bed available. Children to three years are free of cost. If there are more than four persons, two further places to sleep can be prepared. We only rent for non-smokers without their pets.
Service: If requested you can get a breakfast for 7,50 EUR each person in a breakfast basket containing 2 fresh rolls, 2 slices wholemeal bread, butter, jam, honey, boiled ham, sausage, cheese, yoghurt and coffee
You need 20 minutes on foot to go to the town centre and the Stadtkirche (town church) of Celle. Celle - the old seat of royal power – is a special place of interest, a town with culture, grace, elegance, dynamic of the present time. Shopping, art, culture und a good and various gastronomy invite to stay. More than 450 timber-framed houses in the centre are listed. They mainly date from 16th, 17th and 18th century. This is unique in Germany.
Further there is the castle with the crypt of the Welfen princes and the castle theatre, i. e. Europe’s oldest working baroque theatre with a permanent ensemble. In autumn the famous stallion parade for the horse lovers takes place. Celle is part and the heart of the Lüneburger Heide. The distance to Hanover is only 40 kilometres.
