Bonjour!! Je m'appelle Michèle. Lourmarin est le village de mes ancêtres, village où je suis née et où je venais passer mes vacances alors que j'habitais Paris avec mes parents. C'est donc tout naturellement que j'ai décidé, en 1999, d'y faire construire une maison pour y passer à mon tour une retraite sereine et profiter de la nature, du Lubéron et de ses magnifiques villages environnants, des cigales, du soleil Provençal... Cette maison est devenue maintenant la maison familiale pour mes enfants qui, à leur tour, en profitent pour passer des vacances ensoleillées. Lorsque j'étais enfant, Lourmarin n'était pas encore connu, mais petit à petit, il s'est fait sa réputation auprès de touristes du monde entier grâce à sa situation au coeur du Luberon, ce qui fera dire à un poète : "Lourmarin est un bijou dans un écrin de verdure". Lourmarin et ses environs n'ont plus de secrets pour moi et je me ferais un plaisir de vous les faire découvrir. Je partage mon temps entre randonnées, jardinage, lectures, cinéma et repas entre amis sous le ciel bleu de ma Provence natale. Je suis très active, j'aime voyager et j'ai souvent utilisé airbnb pour mes voyages en famille, cela m'a donné l'idée de mettre mon petit coin de paradis à disposition de voyageurs curieux et animés par le désir de découvrir et de s'approprier un endroit en vivant in situ. A bientôt! Hello!! My name is Michèle. Lourmarin is my ancesters's village, it is also where I was born and where I used to spend my holidays when I was a child with my parents while we were leaving in Paris. In 1999 I decided to build this house and to come back in my hometown in order to spend there my old sunny days. What I like the most around here is the peaceful nature,the unique view on the luberon mountains,the colourful provencal markets ,the dazzling songs of the cicadas... This house now became our familly home and my children likes to spend their holidays here with me under the blue sky of Provence. When I was a child Lourmarin was not as well known as nowadays, but slowly it became one of the most attractive village in Provence because of its situation in the heart of Luberon and famous author Albert Camus. A poet once wrote about the village: "Lourmarin is a jewels nestled in a green lush landscape". I share my time between hiking, gardening, reading, movies and sharing good meals with friends under the blue sky of my native Provence. I love to travel and I often used airbnb for my family trips, that's how I got the idea to share my house which I think is really heaven on earth! Now Lourmarin has no secrets for me and I'll be delighted to share them with you. See you soon!
