Johannisthal is a hamlet in the district of Treptow-Köpenick of Berlin. Welcome to the largest district of Berlin, whose appeal lies in its diversity and contradiction. In the south: scenic beauty - parks, forests, lakes. You would not be in Berlin - were it not for the warm-Berlin direct mentality and transport. Great Urban-Multicultural flair there especially in the north, where the region of Friedrichshain-Kreuzberg borders.
Always along the River Spree, Treptow-Köpenick district extends from the City to the border to Brandenburg.
Treptow-Köpenick is the largest district of Berlin, located in the South-East of the 3.4 million-metropolis. The region is considered a green lung of Berlin with the largest forest areas of the capital. And here is the heartbeat of the city beats blue, because nowhere Berlin is rich in water.
Treptow-Köpenick is characterized by scenic rivers and lakes, which you can explore by boat or boat. The view from the water on the architecture and history of urban landscape or beautiful nature is a special experience.
Tip: Spoil yourself on a perfect day in Berlin Treptow-Köpenick: Have breakfast in the morning maybe at a cafe overlooking the water. Take a stroll (with audio guide) through the old quarter and visit the castle or another museum. Sweeping in and treat yourself to a good meal or a delicious piece of cake. Go in the evening to the theater, the cinema or a concert, and then make a "night cap" at a restaurant. Enjoy!
