Scenic sandy Cremorne with a wide coastal bay and glistening shallow lagoon, a sunny seaside village with abundant bird-life, sailboats, kayakers, fishing and kids playing. Number 60 is just 50m from Pipe Clay Lagoon and 5 minutes walk to the beach.
Welcome to Cremorne - and just 50m from Pipe Clay Lagoon and 5 minute stroll to Cremorne Beach, the classic coastal cottage of "Number 60".
"Number 60" is an original 1950's Tasmanian seaside shack. Renovated throughout, its character remains to welcome you as soon as you stride through the door. With two bedrooms, a fully self-contained modern kitchen, bathroom (with bath) and laundry, it has everything you need for your getaway. One bedroom has a double bed and the other with three singles - beautifully set up and just waiting to provide a restful nights sleep. A portacot is also available and all linen is provided.
An enclosed front porch looks across the tree-lined yard, visited often by possums, bandicoots and colourful rosellas.
On chilly nights, relax opposite the large Saxon wood fire, safe in the knowledge that, at the flick of a switch, heat will be ducted across the whole home.
All accoutrements are provided including fresh tank water, fully equipped kitchen, gas stove and electric oven, washing machine and dryer.
Perfect for two nights or an extended stay.
"Number 60" is a complete and discrete cottage with driveway access and private parking.
Your host Jeg and Nicky are just a back fence away and are at hand as often or as little as you would like.
The Cremorne foreshore boasts a sheltered picnic area, public barbeques, well maintained ablution block, exercise areas. A small park in the centre of the town also provides basketball hoop, childrens swings and climbing equipment. The classic local Bowls Club is open daily and all are welcome - with regular special functions including Friday Fish and Chips, social functions and community get togethers.
Although you may never want to leave the township, Cremorne is also close to Clifton Beach (Tasmania's favourite surf beach) and Sandford (popular with windsurfers and bird watchers alike).
The Tangara Trail runs near the area with other scenic local paths also nearby. For a dash of city life - Hobart is an easy 20 minute drive away.
