The property is halfway between the city centre and the train station, so perfectly situated for the travelling visitor. Room 1 is nestled in among three other rooms, one of two on the second floor, up an antique spiral staircase. They are small and cosy. With the building being so old, timber framed with wattle and daub walls and small peep-hole windows, the rooms give an authentic feel of life in historic Cambridge. There is good internet speed and free wifi.
This is a cosy, authentic room in the upper floor of a timber-framed Grade 2 property dating back to the 18th Century. It is centrally located in Cambridge near to shops, amenities, places of historic and current interests. The Fitzwilliam Museum is less than a mile away as well as the River Cam for leisure activities such as punting.
Come to the designated place nearby to collect the house key and let yourself in. The room is up a narrow, wooden, spiral staircase on the second floor. If possible, please arrive before 18:00. Please vacate by 10:00 in case there are other guests arriving. We can store bags outside these hours.
We leave a selection of tasty food for you to make your own breakfast etc. There is fresh fruit, yoghurt, cake, bread, tea, coffee etc. We recommend the real fruit smoothies using the 'nutri-bullet' smoothie maker. Mangoes, bananas, strawberries are often available. Cups and straws are provided for you to take drinks out with you. If you have any special requirements please let us know
You can park temporarily in the church car park to unload your bags. There is on-street parking and we will tell you the best place to park.
Please check in before 18:00 and check out by 10:00 if possible. Bags can be left for collection later but they need to be moved to the hallway.
