I booked Amabelle's place as a base for a family vacation while in Cebu City. A few days to our stay, Amabelle contacted us about an issue with her unit. She proactively contacted another host (Vanessa) and setup us up in the same condominium development. The transition to another unit and host was seamless. Communication between us and the hosts were cordial and smooth. The 4th floor unit we had was appropriate for our purpose. The two bedrooms allowed us to have our two kids stay in their own room. The AC was working well, a must when in Cebu City. There were security guards in each building and felt pretty safe. Taxis are available, as well as Uber. I rented a car but the unit has no assigned parking spot (a late communication from my part). However, just outside the development gate is a facility that allows parking for guests for a nominal fee. It felt safe enough to leave our rental. As seen in the pictures, the community pool looks great, but we were not able to enjoy it because of our own schedules. The host even offered ways on how to use it for free. One Oasis is located close to main thoroughfares but not along it, so expect taxis to not be familiar with the location. As far as we know, there is no eating facility within the development, but there is a cafe and other stores a few blocks away. Overall, we enjoyed our stay in One Oasis and would recommend.
It's a good place to stay if you are on holiday, It's clean and it's got all the basics covered like a washer, fridge and hob which comes in handy if you're staying for more than a couple of days. I was on holiday with my wife and two kids and we basically used the place as our base as we toured the northern and southern parts of Cebu. My only gripe is that we came during summer and there was some sort of water rationing in effect so we got running water only from 6am to 12nn and then at 6pm to 12mn but the guards can help you get water if you need it during the "off-hours." As my friends in Cebu have informed me, this water rationing is in-effect all-over Cebu and not only in this property. Locals don't seem to mind--they are used to it anyway--but if this is a big issue for you better check with the host first before booking. As for the host: Amabelle is very accomodating, understanding, helpful and replies to messages pretty quick.
We didn't meet Amabelle personally but we were contacted by her and one of her people who explained everything we needed to know. The place is great, it's comfy and we felt at home. One Oasis also has a good ambiance. But some Uber drivers didn't know how to find the place tho. All in all we recommend this place to whoever wants to have a vacay in Cebu. :)
I was welcomed by Amabelle's realtor, Pritzel. She met me at the condo and explained everything to me. She checked up on me and made sure that our stay is okay. We had the unit to ourselves and it has everything we need. We got to cook breakfast which saved us money during our stay in Cebu. We also got to use the pool and the playground. We used Grab and Uber for our transportation since I did not see any tricycles or jeepneys outside the property. Overall, I had a good stay in the listing, the only problem was that because of El Nino, there was a scheduled water interruption. I asked for extra water pail so I can stock up on water, and it was sent to the condo the very next day. The unit may also need a little bit more cleaning. I would like to stay here again maybe not during the El Nino season :)
