Restaurants and Pubs on Princess Wharf and in Viaduct Harbour have excellent reviews too. So I hope that you'll have time to explore and enjoy these venues :) E.g Cuplers was rated as top50 in NZ.

This Princes Wharf Apartment is upmarket accommodation adjacent to the Hilton Hotel.

1 bedroom, 1 bathroom/laundry plus a open plan kitchen and living area. At 40 sqm it is very comfortable for two people.

Flat TV, unlimited high speed internet, Wi-fi and radio-cd set with Bluetooth and remote.

High quality apartment.

There are no noisy restaurants beneath you, and you are on top level (5th) of Shed 20 on Prince's Wharf - high enough but close enough to be a part of the ambience and quiet at night.

This is it undeniably one of the best locations besides the Hilton Hotel and with the Viaduct Harbour as your playground.

Many and best restaurants and bars only a stone throw away. Shopping centers close by and supperette plus wine shop downstairs.

You'll hardly need to drive. Walking is the mode du jour in this superb location that has all the convenience of central city transport. Buses and taxis everywhere stop at the entry to the viaduct; the train station is a stroll away and ferries are next door.

With 24 hour security and a strong residents committee it ensures that the high standards of the complex are maintained.

Style, size, ambiance and location what more could you ask for.

I had a very comfortable stay at this apartment. It is located close to the ferries which was convenient for exploring the surrounding areas. The apartment was clean and comfortable, with a nice deck. Ollie made me feel very welcome and was available for anything I needed. The kitchen worked for simple meals and it was nice having a washer/dryer. Also, the building felt very safe and secure.

Although this area of Auckland is very safe (as compared to most global cities), but Princes Wharf is extra secure complex, with 24x7 security, cameras and access card to your building and floor.

There are many and top restaurants and bars, convenience and wine shops within the complex but this apartment is away from the noisy areas, has double glazed windows and is in well acoustically insulated building. You should wake up well rested every morning.

But mate, you need to be more specific about "best".....we went to Culpeper, where they smoke the meat. Yes we followed our nose. And because we entered from carpark side, we just thought typical place. (URL HIDDEN) was only that I had a smoke out the back near the water, which is actually the front, did we realise they and others are top 50 restaurants globally. There are illuminated signs, like awards along the jetty.....really superb food, service and reasonable on the wallet. Heids and I go to a lot of restaurants that have hats awarded, so it was top notch tucker.,.......some of the best, you say....yeah globally"

No smoking inside or on the deck, partying, unsocial or loud behavior.

This is upmarket place and all of the enjoyment can be had outside, as there are many splendid venues within 5 minute walk... restaurants, pubs, clubs etc.

In New Zealand, people usually remove shoes inside dwellings, especially if it is raining, and wear some homely footwear.

Please leave keys inside on the table and MAKE SURE you LOCK the main door before you leave turning lock lever to horizontal position. You can get out of the building without keys but make sure that you have taken everything.

We want you to have a great stay and do all we can to make it happen, so please make us also happy that we had you as our guests :)

We'd appreciate if you leave the apartment in the tidy condition.
Although you don't have to clean windows :) but please wash dishes and make it tidy :)

We are still going to have to give it good clean, but it will be nice if you help a bit :)

The cleaning fee does not cover all of the costs with washing of linens and towels etc.

Please replace any broken items or let us know what has happened so that we can advise you about replacement cost.

Such an easy visit! Thanks Ollie - from arrival to departure, this was frictionless, easy, and well choreographed. This is an apartment that is truly at the centre of the 'it' location in Auckland. The arrival instructions are clear and super easy to follow - to the point where I've never been to a hotel anywhere in the world, where they had a better check-in/check-out. The apartment was perfectly set up for guests. On arrival, you notice that Ollie is a meticulous host - from the fresh soaps down to the immaculate presentation of towels, it wasn't like any AirBNB that i've stayed in before (I came packed with my own soaps, towels, etc) -- and it is easy to see why guests may mistake Ollie's apartment for a top-end hotel room. If you are looking for an immaculate low stress studio/1-bed apartment (it has a fold out couch also - but check with Ollie, as I didn't use it/check it out) that's probably perfect for 1, 2, or a small family of people to have as a place to stay in the heart of all the action in Auckland - this is your place. I couldn't be more happy with my stay, Ollie was a great host - attentive and engaging - and it made my week in Auckland super easy. I'll definitely be back. Thanks Ollie - see you next visit. Ollie was great to deal with and very welcoming. The apartment was just as it was described, however I missed that there was no air conditioning and due to very limited airflow, it was uncomfortably hot during the evenings being in the height of summer. An air-con unit would be an easy fix! Lovely location and has everything there including an ironing board :) thanks. cheers

Dan was a very pleasant and easy to communicate with, taking good care of the apartment but was also very busy so we did not manage to meet. He did text me abut the apartment being too hot for him. I replied immediately that regrettably there was nothing we could do. Even electric fans were sold out in Auckland and other cities (Dan already had one in the apartment), never mind air-con units. So it unfortunately was not "an easy fix". And it was unusually hot spell of weather in Auckland indeed. And we also accurately state on our listings that our apartments do not have air-con. So it is a bit unfortunate Dan implied it was a shortcoming of apartment because it is priced accordingly to its facilities and represents excellent value for money, considering its location and appointments - short of air-con. One can always book in a Hilton Hotel next door, which has air-con and 3x higher rental rates :) But we are planning to install air-con units in all our apartments before next summer, as a result of this experience, because global warming is not likely to be going to go away anytime soon. We hope that next time Dan will be our even more happy guest again :)

It was arranged by mutual agreement with Terence and with his understanding that I made an unintentional error in our calendar maintenance. With plenty of time ahead of the trip there was no issue and we parted in a friendly manner, with my apologies having been fully accepted.
