The apartment is newly reconstructed in functionalist style. It is located at a dead end street (quiet neighborhood) and in the very city center at the same time. I also provide 2 BIKES (let me know in advance). There are popular restaurants nearby (U Kubistu, Dunajsky pivovar). Walkable distance to the bus station, shopping mall Eurovea and the Danube river. Perfect place to start sightseeing, too - Blue church and the Old Town are under your windows. I am looking forward to your visit! :)
The apartment was inhabited by a brother of one of the most famous Czechoslovak functionalist architect Josef Gočár, who built many famous buildings in Bratislava and Prague such as House of the Black Madonna in Prague. The apartment house is also built in funcionalist style. You can still find his name on the mailbox of the apartment :) (URL HIDDEN)
GETTING HERE FROM THE AIRPORT
If you want a transfer to/from Bratislava of Vienna airport, let me know in advance. My friend can pick you up and drive you to the apartment or back to the airport for 10eur (Bratislava) and 35eur (Vienna).
I will be happy to give you tips, especially on gastronomy, clubs and beautiful places in Bratislava :)
Parking for non-residents is at the street in front of the apartment and also in the whole neighborhood. It is for free during evenings/nights and weekends, otherwise you pay through the machine at the street. (8€/day)
There are many big commercial parking lots nearby, e.g. Eurovea shopping mall (200m).
1) Wash your dishes
2) Please, be careful with worktop in the kitchen, it is wooden. Please, do not leave wet items as well as food on it. Use a chopboard.
My name is Silvia and I am working and studying here, in Bratislava. I admire Czechoslovak functionalism and the interior as well as exterior of the apartment respects this architectonic style. Enjoy it!
