The bright cosy house has lots of character with an open fire, books, vinyl and lovely textiles. There is a good bus and train service to the city centre 6 km away, and there are sea walks and plenty of restaurants in nearby Monkstown and Dun Laogaire.
Downstairs is open plan where you can cook, relax by the open fire, listen to records ( I love vinyl), browse through the books and plan your stay in Dublin
There are two bedrooms, 1 double and 1 single with an option for another bed. Guests can use the whole house and garden.
I'm available to help you in any way I can during your stay. I can advise you on music and arts events and some interesting historical sites to visit, depending on your taste. Let me know in advance and I'll check out what is happening in Dublin
The area is quiet at night time so there should be no noise problems
I'd hope everyone will respect the house as they would their own, smoking in the garden is fine, and I can be contacted if there are any questions. I really enjoy living here and I'd like you to enjoy your stay here too.
I have an arts background working in the theatre, film and music business for many years. I love to discover new music so I listen to BBC Radio 6 and any other station with edgy interesting sounds. I read a lot and love the cinema and theatre. I cannot imagine living far from the sea and walk the Sandycove Dun Laoghaire promenade almost every day.
