Expect a spacious, tasteful, high-end property with all mod cons. The home was built & is equipped to be lived in comfortably rather than to maximise rental income. It’s quiet & secluded yet still enough in the middle of everything a 5 min walk to the beach. Traditional, thoughtful design combine to give comfort. The 2nd floor pool area high is a big plus. And the home is proactively maintained to a high standard by the owner who is on hand to help with planning & at any point during your stay.
This listing was left dormant so 2017-18 is actually the first real year on Airbnb so please don't be put off by the lack of reviews. The home was bought as a successful rental property in 2015, entirely remodelled and overhauled and this is now my third season. There are plenty of excellent reviews on my main listing (elsewhere in the US ether) from which you would see clearly that IT IS MOST IMPORTANT TO ME THAT PEOPLE HAVE A WONDERFUL STAY at Casa de la Luna.
I mean that sincerely, I get a lot of pleasure from it and I am happy to put in all effort necessary to make it happen. Life isn't rehearsal, most of us don't have unlimited time or funds so getting the vacation right is a seriously important business in my book. I want Casa De La Luna to feel like a real home-away-from-home. The house should be something that you remember as contributing to your vacation and not simply a place you stayed in that did the job at the right price.

THE HOME IS VERY WELL EQUIPPED, PRESENTED AND MAINTAINED in a destination where standards vary wildly and price is sadly no guarantee of good quality. I put a lot of care, love & pride into the property and, biased as I am, I think the home is pretty hard to beat in terms of a combination of exceptional value-for-money, high quality and prime location.
CONCIERGE SERVICES OFFERED BY THE OWNER so real help is readily on hand. I am generally on site, almost certainly in high season, invisible unless needed and always more than happy to assist. If I can help you plan your vacation, hit the ground running on arrival or assist during your time here, then just please ask! Anything from Thanksgiving Turkey to birthday ideas. There is a world of difference between staying at Casa de la Luna as opposed to an agent-managed property. I care 100%. MY GUESTS AND THE HOME ARE ALWAYS MY FIRST PRIORITIES. And I have a great team behind me, thankfully, not surprisingly.
THE HOME CAN BE RENTED SMALLER, with 3 bedrooms / 7 beds sleeping a 8-10. The first floor Bedroom 4 can be removed from your booking and reduced rates apply. Please enquire as the rates cannot be shown here unfortunately.
THE HOME CAN BE RENTED LARGER. The first floor owners apartment can also be added (Sleeps 4). Having integrated access via Bedroom 4 and also independent access though it's own private patio and garden, this provides very flexible accommodation for multiple families and large groups. It can be used alone or with Bedroom 4 to make a 2 bedroom apartment covering the entire first floor or otherwise as part of the entire home sleeping up to 18.
The price advertised for additional guests above 12 pax shown on Airbnb actually applies to the addition of the apartment which sleeps 4 not 1 person, (king bed and full sofa bed). Book on-line for 'one additional person' in order to book the entire apartment. Your contract will reflect the real number of guests / rooms included in the rental as will the Airbnb correspondence.
During high season the owner is most likely on site or local, less certain in low season and very happy to help in any way.
There is a short, simple contract covering your booking that sets out the principal terms and conditions.
