There are three to four parking spaces, depending on vehicle size, with overflow parking within a 1 minute walk from the cabin to the lot. Do not block roadway in the resort.
There is a security camera of the front deck and also includes the parking area.
No smoking, no pets and no outdoor loud noises past 10 p.m. This cabin sleeps no more than 16 people. There is a welcome book explaining everything you need to know about the cabin and complete instructions for electronics. Children are very much welcome and will enjoy the bear decorated full/full bunk bedroom with private bath. Senior citizens are comfortable in our cabin. There are two steps to access the front porch and that's it. Everything anyone needs is on the main floor, including a large deck to eat your meal or just take in the view. There are three important things to remember while staying at Bearfoot Lodge. One is parking. If you park diagonally, you can get 3 cars or mini vans or small suv's in front of the cabin. There is an overflow lot at the bottom of the hill and it takes about 2 minutes to walk to it, maybe less. There is also overflow parking on either side of the main entrance to the resort. The second is trash. There are bears in the mountains. A fed bear is a dead bear because they depend on trash as their food source, causing them to become dependent on that source. There is a bear resistant trash container on the side of the front deck off the street. Inside are two trash containers. Inside the cabin are phone numbers to call if you need a trash pickup during your stay. Third, trailers are not allowed in the resort. There is an offsite location that is secure 5 minutes from the resort. There is a phone in the cabin and you can make toll free long distance calls inside the 48 states. We want you to feel at home in our cabin. I have a complete packing guide under the 'BLOG' tab of the My Bearfoot Cabins website. It is a huge help to many people. While you are there, you may find other blogs that are helpful. I add blogs periodically, so check back often. Bearfoot Lodge is on a mountainside, but not high up, so you don't feel like you're falling off a cliff. During the winter, if there is snow, the resort has a snow removal service. A small grocery store, quick mart and pizza restaurant within 2 minutes of the resort. We love our area because of it's convenience, but also because you can have the rustic mountain experience but still close to whatever you may need. Search for me, My Bearfoot Cabins, for ease in communicating. I'm easy to find.
