Dear Nazgul, first of all, thank you for staying with us, we are glad that you liked our place. we are very sad about some negative points in your review and feel we need to clarify these for other guests. 1. It was mentioned by you that we were not expecting you at the day you came. We, indeed, did not, as you booked the room for Nov 6-7 and came unexpectedly on the 5th. You could not reach Victoria then, as you say, but you also had my number and could contact me instead. When your husband contacted me on airbnb, I immediately called Victoria from London, where i was at the moment, and let her know you were waiting (my call did go through, no problems at all). She rushed to you at that very moment and let you in.
2. As for the fact you do not have a local sim, we have a cafe on the first floor with the internet - you could use that- and also, you previously confirmed that you will be calling us on arrival and it was not mentioned by you at the time that you did not have a sim.
3. And finally, my mum had to enter your room once because the light was left on. she switched it off and left, nothing was touched, (of course!). yes. we do ask our guests to switch off the light and water after use, which i think is more than reasonable, given our cheap accommodation price. We would have been very grateful if you could take this into account and just tell us your concern, we would have explained it straightaway and the matter would be resolved.
