Went to Cardiff for a few days to see a few rugby matches, as part of the Rugby World Cup. Nick's roommate Alex greeted us upon arrival and gave a friendly tour: shared kitchen, bathroom and supplied some chocolate bars, towels and ear plugs for guests. The amenities were fine. There was another couple in the bedroom across the way on the second floor so it was a packed house - having Alex sleeping on the couch in the living room. We did have space in the flat during the day and night to do as we wished which was nice after running around. The description of the room is true but "cozy" is not the term I'd use. The room was extremely tight for two people with luggage. Luckily, we only had our backpackers packs that could be stowed on a chair and behind the door when closed. The flat is a 25 min walk to downtown Cardiff, but caution follow the footpaths. Taxi is about £5 one-way to/from the center of town but worth it. Overall we had a decent stay.
