Le Pleyel is a spacious family apartment located on the elegant Avenue Wagram, a street that stretches through one of the finest neighborhoods in Paris, leading to the Arc de Triomphe (clearly visible from the balcony) and the Champs-Elysées.
Le Pleyel will strike the perfect note for your getaway in the city of lights and music.
My spacious home is located on the 5th floor (with elevator) of a very upscale Haussmann-style building and is within walking distance of the Champs Elysees and Arc de Triomphe. The building lobby features impressive details, like intricate wrought-iron railings and sculpted ceilings, but inside the apartment awaits a true feast for the eyes: a large entryway, original hardwood floors, exquisite moldings, handsomely appointed rooms, and floor-to-ceiling windows that offer sweeping views of Avenue de Wagram and the Place de Ternes. You can even spot the top of the Eiffel Tower from the living room windows and enjoy the monument’s glimmering lights, which come alive every hour, on the hour, from sunset to midnight.
Le Pleyel offers a generous layout that will satisfy even the most discerning guests. The entryway leads to a stately living room and separate dining area. Both rooms are tastefully furnished in classic French decor. Elegant yet comfortable sofas and chairs designed in warm fabrics play gracefully against the colorful rugs and framed prints. A generous number of expansive windows in each room allow natural light to flood in during day. The main bedroom features a queen bed and offers views of the private courtyard below. The second bedroom is equipped with two double beds that sleeps up to four additional guests. A spacious bathroom features a large bathtub and a separate shower with massage jets. For convenience, the WC is just across the hallway. Because Le Pleyel serves as a secondary home for part of the year, the kitchen is fully equipped with all cooking necessities, including a microwave, espresso coffee maker, and plenty of counter space.
Due to its truly prime location, guests at the Pleyel will be in close reach of many must-sees in Paris as well as nearby markets and specialty shops. The Ternes metro station is less than a minute walk from the front door (and one stop away from the Arc de Triomphe and Champs-Elysees). The famous flower market in Place de Ternes is just around the corner. A five-minute stroll down Avenue de Ternes will lead to a large Monoprix (a popular French supermarket/retail store). Or follow Rue Poncelet to quickly reach a bustling outdoor market teeming with fresh produce, baked goods, butcher and rotisseries stands, and wine stalls. Be sure to stop by “Fromage Alleosse,” one of the best cheese vendors in Paris. And last, but not least, stroll over to the concert hall for an evening with the music of Ravel or Debussy.
Will be there to greet you, show you around, and will always be available during your stay by phone (free to use in the apartment).
The apartment is non-smoking.
**Please note: there is an extra fee of 30 Euros, payable in cash on arrival, for early/late arrivals (after 8pm and before 8am)**
Please treat my home as if it were yours.
Walk softly on the hardwood floors, as heels tend to resonate in the building and bother the neighbors.
Speak softly in the common areas of the building, which is entirely residential.
We will always try to be flexible with your arrival and departure needs, but we do ask a 50€ fee for an arrival after 8pm.
Enjoy splitting my time between Paris and Normandy where I sail. It's my pleasure to share with you my Haussmann-style apartment with you and help you make the most of your stay in Paris!
