My apartment is on the second floor of what was once an old school transformed into a fake pearl making factory. The street is quiet and in walking distance to the lovely neighborhood bars and restaurants of South Park Slope. There is a grocery store on the corner and a deli open 24 hours. I'm just a half a block from the R train and half a block from the historic Greenwood cemetery. If you enjoy biking, jogging or just recreational park fun in general, Prospect Park and Sunset Park are a 15-20 minute walk away. The apartment itself has high ceilings, wood floors and large sunny windows where you get an amazing view of the statue of liberty and lower Manhattan. Our kitchen has brand new cabinets and is fully equipped for cooking. There is a washing machine and dryer, record player and t.v. for your use. The bedroom is very large with a big closet, storage space and dresser. The bathroom has a full bath perfect for relaxing in. If you have a car, there is always free parking right out front. There is an overall homey feel to this place, very comfortable, clean and open. At night you can enjoy the beautiful sunset and watch the big cruise ships leaving Manhattan. You will be sharing the space with two cats named Minerva and Stink who love to nap and eat and my very lovely roommate Anna. It's hard to find an apartment so quiet, nice and friendly as this one. Hope you enjoy it as much as I do!
Guests will be able to access their room and closet space, living room, kitchen and bathroom. Guest is welcome to use anything in the kitchen as well as the washing machine and dryer in the bathroom.
I will be touring and traveling for the month of August, my roommate Anna will be here for your stay and able to help you with any questions you may have.
Keys to the apartment as well as the front door will be left for you. If you need something mailed, my roommate will be able to access the mailbox for you.
