We are saddened to hear of your negative comments, especially since we pride ourselves in offering a warm inviting and comforting environment for our guests, as evidenced by all of our many other reviews.
We want to take this opportunity to respond to some of your remarks. Regarding check-in instructions, we provided clear instructions for check-in via messaging through Airbnb two weeks prior to your arrival (7/22/18), to which you responded. We are sorry you had difficulty getting into the home when you arrived. Regarding air conditioning, this is clearly outlined in our description. We are sorry you also didn’t see that detail, especially since it is clearly important for your comfort. Regarding the moldy smelling towels and “sewer” smell…we have NEVER had that comment or issue, in fact, most guests comment on how clean the home is. This is concerning and we will definitely ensure with our trusted housekeeper that this is not an issue for future guests.
Lastly, we are very sorry you were offended by the note regarding our quiet neighborhood. We meant no implication that your group would be noisier than others. We were simply attempting to be proactive. As mentioned in that note, we work very hard to maintain positive relationships with our neighbors. We also greatly enjoy being able to share our home with others. It can sometimes be a difficult balance to provide a location for large families with groups of children to gather, kick back, and let go without infringing upon our neighbors’ daily routines.
With all that said, we want to thank you for taking care of our home when you were here.
All the best,
Clint and Mandy
