The apartment is on the first floor of a resort-like home in Forrest Hills area, where many ambassadors chose to have their home residencies. Located 7 min walk to red line metro, and 8 min metro ride to Farragut North/White House. Free parking.

All guests should be indicated in the booking request. Maximum adult occupancy (guests older than 12 y.o. are considered "adults") is 2 persons. Maximum guest occupancy is 4 (e.g. 2 adults and 2 children under age of 12)
The apartment features own access, independently controlled AC/heat, 3 closets, marble tiled bathrooms with hot tub and shower, a modern kitchen with dishwasher, microwave, hardwood floors in the living room/kitchen/master bedroom, and heated tiled floors in the second bedroom. Outside breakfast table with chairs overlooking the garden for those sunny DC days.
Free parking on premises for 1 car.
This is a ground floor, not a basement apartment - all rooms/bathrooms are above grade level, have real large windows, and are filled with natural light.
Bedroom #1: queen bed accommodates 2 adults, twin sleeper bed (best fit for a child);
Bedroom #2: full/double bed
Living area: sofa opens into a twin XL sleeper that accommodates 1 child or 1 adult.
The guests will have access to all amenities as described and to the guest parking area (marked on the property fence). The rental does not include the main patio and the pool deck area and sun lounges; the apartment has its' own designated outside breakfast table and chairs. Rearranging the apartment or the main house patio furniture is not allowed. Swimming in the pool is only allowed by the explicit authorization by the host at the time of the booking.
In many cases, we will meet you to provide access to the accommodation, but we will also send clear instructions how the key can be retrieved at the property. The unit is a part of a family property rental business, with "same day response policy" (the manager lives nearby). No third party agents or automated voice messages – our guests receive immediate response to their inquiries by texting or calling us.
Full ID check at check-in is required for the unit access code. The damage deposit for stays longer than 20 days is $500. Please, contact us in advance to receive a special offer for longer stays with the damage deposit adjusted according to the duration of your stay. Credit check and income verification for 20 days and longer stays will apply.
Strictly a non-smoking unit, no-pet and no-entertainment property.
We ask our guests to be considerate to other residents: no partying, loud music, gatherings or anything of that sort. Only guests indicated in the booking form can access the unit, visitors are not permitted.
Swimming in the pool is not allowed unless explicitly authorized by the host.
Please, park only at the designated guest parking (the GUEST PARKING) sign. Do not leave your car in front of the garage or other driveway areas.
Rearranging the outside furniture, dining in the main patio/pool deck area, using the pool without the host prior consent, or other entertaining will result in the "entertaining fee" of $200, or loss of security deposit if such fee cannot be collected at the guest check out.
Late check out (by 4pm) can be arranged only if there is no other guest checking in the same day upon approval of the host. We are not able to offer late a check out after 4pm. The guest is responsible for all host expenses/losses in case of holdover (a late check out without host authorization), including but not limited to the additional cleaning fee, rent for one additional day, and any refunds issued for inconvenience/lost booking to the next guest etc.
Although guests are not expected to do any cleaning prior to their check out, they should treat the property with reasonable care, follow basic sanitary rules, and avoid causing damage to fixtures and appliances. Please, notify us immediately of any damages/malfunctions discovered upon arrival in order for us to ensure proper maintenance and good quality services for you and all future guests.
According to the booking terms, the guest agrees to indemnify the host for any damages/injuries caused or sustained by the guest and his visitors while using the swimming pool.
By booking this accommodation the guest agrees to waive any tenancy or homestead rights under DC law, and acknowledges that any consideration paid to the host represents a fee for hospitality services.
