The cottage is bright and cosy and has views over the Rother valley. The cottage garden is enclosed and private with outside table and chairs and BBQ. Only 5 miles from Rye and Tenterden. There is a tennis court use of by arrangement.

There is one bedroom with a double bed and a smaller bedroom with good sized bunk beds large enough for adults or older children.
The cottage is bright and comfortable. A wood stove will keep you warm in the winter. A small enclosed garden is private and below the cottage a field to stretch your legs and the tennis court.
You have the cottage to yourselves. Parking is outside and access is on a driveway past our house, Orchard Farm.
We will be available to help with any concerns and give local advise. You are completely self contained and you should not need to see us unless you want.
We are 5 mile from Rye the beautiful Cinque port town. Camber beach is 7 miles with the golf links near by. We are surrounded by fields and the cottage has a lovely view south over the Rother valley.
Gardens such as Great Dixter and and Sissinghurst are within easy reach.
There is a fast train from Ashford to London (40 minutes). Connections run to Rye.
A local bus passes by and will take you to Rye or Tenterden.
You are welcome to walk in the field below the cottage and use the tennis court. Bring your own rackets and balls.

We have a very friendly small Labradoodle dog called Layla who may come to visit. Please do not feed her!
We hope our guests will treat our cottage as they would their own home. We have a minimum stay of 2 nights. For a single night we will request a supplement .
I am a retired local GP originally from Scotland. I live with my Irish wife Mary. We have a beautiful house and garden which takes much of our time. I travel a alot and spend time in our holiday house in Connemarra on the west of Ireland. I golf fish and am a keen photographer.
