Beautiful breezy house with upstairs lounge with a great view over the Tsavo Conservancy. So quiet, so private, so unique! We love the open kitchen connecting to the outside bar and fire pit. The perfect place for a family or friends getaway.
The house is built with a lot of natural materials, flours of Galana stone, a lot of wood and an impressive makuti roof. The dining of the house is completely open to the garden. The house is included in the fence surrounding Kivuli Camp to keep wildlife out.
You have access to the house in its entirety. This means a dining, a kitchen, an upstairs lounge, four en suite bedrooms and a large garden with bar with fire pit.
We employ house staff who will make beds and clean every day and help you with washing the dishes. If you want, you can employ a full time cook to make your meals for you.
One-off conservancy fees apply. There is no wifi at Ndovu House but our guests are welcome to use the internet of the Wildife Works research centre, 400 m away.
No littering, respect the wildlife.
I fell in love with Kenya and my husband in 2009. My husband has been looking after an expanding wildlife area between Tsavo East and Tsavo West national parks for almost 20 years. The wildlife has returned to the formerly degraded land and the community is involved and participating in the conservation. I followed him and moved here in 2011. Ndovu House is one of our favorite places in the world, as this is the place where we got married.
