We have a double room with private bathroom in a unique 3 level 185m2 apartment with an attic and terrace with view of Sagrada Familia for rent in shared flat.
The room doesn't have a view, but it's quiet and the apartment makes up for it.;)
The flat is a triplex with attico, it is 185m2 with 3 floors and has wifi, heating and a washer/dryer.
It is on the 4-6th floor of the building and we have two staircases within the appartment. Beyond that it has two large living areas, a big kitchen, a 20m2 private terrace perfect for watching the sunset or doing yoga.
The kitchen is shared with me and my (SENSITIVE CONTENTS HIDDEN), we have stove, oven, microwave, blender and capsule-coffeemachine.
We are a friendly bunch who love our apartment and sharing our space.
There are yogamats available for meditation or yogapractices.
You will receive an apartment key-set when you arrive, the keys are quite as unique as the apartment and therefor unfortunately expensive to replace, for that reason there is a 40€ security deposit that you will get back upon return of the key set when you leave.
My workshedule is quite diverse, that means that I won't always be around but since the flat is shared someone will be home to greet you. If I have time I love to show you my favourite places in Barcelona and ofcourse I can give tips on food and drink and entertainment to the best of my abilities.
Our elevator is old and slow and tiny and has character. It has 1 outer and 2 inner doors and it only works if both doors are closed and stay closed during the journey and the journey only ends once the elevator has come to a 'complete' stop. Opening the inner doors during the journey will lead to a stop. Should you be overeager, the only way of getting the doors open is to choose a new floor to travel to. It might sound ominous but I have lived here for 3 years and haven't had any trouble with it. Please remember to close both doors once you have left the elevator -the next elevator traveler will be greatful.
Be kind and gentle and you won't have any trouble. That goes for anything in the house really. Be kind and gentle. :)
Use the doorstoppers in the house if you leave doors open since the draft can be quite severe.
You are welcome to use the kitchen but please be aware that you are sharing the kitchen, so common courtesy rules apply.
Please wash common utensils for the next person to use, we have tupperware for any leftovers and please don't leave dirty dishes in the sink.

I'm an expat living and working in Barcelona, I came here on a class trip when i was 17 and fell in love with the city. I moved here 12 years later and have been happy as a clam ever since. If we have time for a drink during your stay I will gladly share my love for this city with you.
