New guests for summer 2017 - please note:
We have been unavailable for booking this past winter and spring, for family reasons. However, we are looking forward to receiving new bookings from July 3rd onwards. Go native in Norfolk - give us a try!
The accommodation is separate from our home – in the garden - and comprises a large bedroom, with king-size bed, a small utility area and shower room. French windows lead out onto a small seating area for your use and access to the 1-acre garden.
There is a kettle, toaster and tiny fridge in the utility area and we can supply, to your taste, all the ingredients of a DIY breakfast. Please note: the accommodation is not self-catering, as there is no cooker, but there is a wide selection of good places to eat in the surrounding area.
The annexe is a wifi-free zone – although emails can be checked at the house if necessary. Come to Oulton and really get away from it all!
This accommodation is situated to the side of a 'working' garden and guests are welcome to wander in the orchard and vegetable garden or go onto the field and visit the sheep. Please note that there is sometimes an active electric fence around the sheep.
There is a 14-foot trampoline, suitable for adult use. There is no safety surround - so have fun, but at your own risk!
If you are seeking peace and quiet we shall leave you well alone, but we shall be on hand if required, to offer help or advice on the local area.
Please note that, although you will have privacy within your accommodation, our access to the garden and animals passes along the side of the annexe.
Please also be aware that mobile phone coverage is very patchy in this area - these are some of the glories of the countryside!
No smoking, or candles, inside the accommodation.
Sorry, no pets.
Please remove outdoor shoes in wet weather.
No parties or events.
Visitors by prior agreement only.
Jonathan and Alison:
We are a semi-retired couple who have lived here in deepest North Norfolk for the past 35 years. We have one and a half acres of land in which we play with flowers, vegetables, sheep and chickens.
We love living here and are happy to share our knowledge of the local area.
