Just a short drive from both Phoenicia and Hunter, our adorable and affordable one bedroom guest cottage is available for two people.
Sometimes you simply want to get away from the stresses of daily life without spending a lot of money. Our little Swedish country cottage* is the perfect place for one or two people to do just that.

If you're looking for something a bit larger, our other property—the Red House Over Yonder—may be available.
A short walk through the woods behind the cottage and house, there is also access to a beautiful stream, which is actually part of our property.
We are often here in the main house and available if you have any needs, questions or concerns.
Be forewarned that there is no cell service up here in the mountains, though there is wifi in the cottage. We also have a reliable landline in the main house for emergencies, no worries.
LIABILITY – The house is privately owned; the owner is not responsible for any accidents, injuries or illness that occur while on the premises or its facilities. The owners are not responsible for the loss of personal belongings or valuables of the renters or their guests. By accepting this reservation, it is agreed that all guests are expressly assuming the risk of any harm arising from their use of the premises or others whom they invite to use the premise. Renter is responsible for all acts of renters family, pets, employees or guests invited to the property.
Renter agrees not to flush anything but toilet paper in the cottage toilet, nor to burn candles inside the cottage.
We have a dog and would be happy to accommodate a four-legged guest (dogs only) who gets along well with others, as long as you pick up after her/him both inside and out; any damages will be deducted from deposit.

I travel A LOT (46 countries and counting) and have lived in Europe, Central America, and South America, though Brooklyn has been my home base for more than 20 years. I am an acupuncturist and used to work for several years as a translator and multilingual communications specialist.
