Friendly home and friendly neighbourhood near the centre of Charlton Kings. The rooms are well furnished. There are three double rooms and two shower/toilet rooms for guests. You are very welcome to use the kitchen, dining, living areas and garden.
There are three double rooms. Each room is booked separately through airbandb (listed as Happy, relaxing and comfortable 1,2 or 3). There is also a single, fold out bed that can be used. If you were a group of friends/couples, the house will accommodate 7 of you. Children in their own carry cots are really welcome to stay. Younger children are welcome to use the bathroom for a bath before bedtime.
There is a downstairs bedroom and shower room if the stairs are difficult to manage. You are welcome to use either of the two living/ seated areas, the dining room and the kitchen to make drinks, snacks or an evening meal. If the weather is good, relax in the garden on the sun loungers.
We are happy to tell you about the local area and the access to walking on the surrounding hills which are two minutes away on foot. You are welcome to watch TV with us, help us how to play the ukulele or we can even teach you how to play cribbage!
There is a side access to the garden, where you can lock bicycles in the shed. Charlton Kings is good base for all the festivals that Cheltenham has to offer:the Cheltenham Racecourse (March and November), Literary Festival (autumn and spring), Folk (February), Jazz (March), Ukulele (July). It isn't even too far to attend the Rugby World Cup with the games that are being held in Gloucester!
If you are attending an event, we could help out with baby sitting; I have a current up to date CRB as I am a teacher.
If you come home late be aware of the neighbours and others who might be sleeping in the house. If you use the shared areas, please leave them tidily.
Smoking is not allowed in the house. It is acceptable at the bottom of the garden.
I am a teacher and love going on holiday with my partner. We love to go to the theatre, see interesting places, read, be busy and relax too. This is us in Barcelona. My partner only just had his plaster cast off 2 days before we travelled; that's why he has a stick. It happened on his weekly football night!!
