"vejs ende" means at the end of the road and it's also the name of this classic wooden summer house built in 1970. The view from the house is wild and coastal. From the house you have direct access to a peaceful beach, you can walk to the forest, the town, the harbor or the train station. It's 20 km from Skagen and there are bicycles in the garage. It's a very quiet place close to nature and also close to the small town of Aalbæk where you can buy groceries.
The house is very basic, it has the things you'll need for a vacation, especially if you plan to spend most of your time outside.
There are 3 bedrooms, one of them with a king size bed, the other rooms have single beds. There are pillows, duvets, covers, towels. There should be toilet paper, laundry detergent etc, please buy more of whatever you finish.
You'll have the house completely to yourself. I will not be there to guide you through the house, so please look at the photos and the basics section to get all the information you need for a pleasant stay. If you have questions you're always welcome to contact me.
I hope you'll use the bicycles and the book with a map of bike trails in the area. There's a supermarket in town, Spar, which has really good bread for a traditional Danish breakfast.
Please care for the house and leave it as you found it, thank you
I have lived outside of Denmark for many years, and I still feel very Danish! Maybe that's why I am working with promoting cycling and gender equality. To me those topics are very typical for Denmark. I love to cycle and meet new people. My family is also my husband Jakob and our children Gabriel and Veronika.
