This 500 square ft studio-style casita has retro charm! On the west end of Marfa, conveniently located on the main street about a mile from the center of town. Sky lights bring the stars to your room & a large patio provides room to stretch out.
FIRM NO PETS POLICY
The casita is on the less busy west end of town, yet still less than a mile from the main intersection. There is a private bathroom in the casita and access to a large front patio.
The casita is equipped with a double bed; twin bed; couch; and kitchenette with sink, mini fridge, microwave, hot plate, toaster oven, coffee maker, electric kettle, and tea pot. Dishes, basic utensils, and a few pans are provided.
The front door opens onto a large porch which is shared with the neighboring casita. A screen door and window provide fresh air, and sky lights bring the stars to your bed! There are space heaters and an electric blanket to keep you toasty in the winter, and a window a/c unit for warm summer days.
A second casita is available for large groups: https://www.airbnb.com/rooms/8013939
You have access to your casita and the front porch. You will not have access to the side patio and backyard. Please respect the privacy of guests in the neighboring casita and backyard trailers.
I am usually next door or at work less than a mile away & am happy to help. Don't hesitate to call if you have any questions or concerns.

Note that the property is 3 blocks from the train tracks & the train whistle can be heard during the night. This is the case in most areas of town.

I left the big city of Austin, Texas over 4 years ago for Marfa and haven't looked back. I love the big sky, the quiet beauty, and the wonderful community of people here.
I enjoy live music, gardening, movies, coffee, and guest dj'ing on the local NPR station.
