In short, this is a beautiful, cozy home in a great location hosted by one of the most accommodating and generous hosts on AirBnB - you should definitely choose it. I have provided a more detailed review below.
As described in the listing, the house is located within short walking distance from the light rail, the free Orbit bus stop, grocery stores, restaurants/bars and the laundry mat. Going to ASU is very easy - you do not need a car. In case you want a ride (I needed it sometimes since I was staying with my parents who are elderly and had trouble walking outside in the AZ summer heat), Uber is always a few minutes away.
The house itself is well-decorated and well maintained. The beds are very comfortable. The kitchen is fantastic - it is large, very well-stocked and has pretty much everything you may need. However, please note that the counters are made of wood and so you wouldn't want to place anything too hot on it. Unfortunately, we did that but Nick was generous enough to not ask for any reimbursement. Which leads to me to one of the best features of this listing - the host, Nick, is amazing.
Nick was very responsive with all my questions. We checked in late at night and had trouble unlocking the door of the house. He responded immediately and we were able to get in fine. Also, we had to cut our stay short unfortunately. The private bathroom attached to the first bedroom didn't have a door and the door of the bathroom in the hallway didn't have a lock when we stayed. For most guests, this may not be a problem but my parents were uncomfortable with it. Nick allowed us to reduce our stay without penalty when I explained the situation, and was very gracious about it. Also, on the day we were leaving, my mother mistakenly placed a hot pan on the counter which left a stain Nick wasn't able to buffer out, so he would probably have to spend extra to remove it. He did not charge us anything extra for it. As a host, Nick exceeded our expectations.
Based on our stay, I would definitely recommend the place to anyone who is comfortable with the house features (which should be sufficient for most travelers and is a great value for the price it was listed under when we booked) and I would definitely recommend Nick as a host.
