My roommates and I are fortunate enough to have some great friends in Chicago. With both of us restauranteurs, we have a good feel of the city. If you are looking to go out and celebrate the nightlife in Chicago, let me know in advance where you may be going or if you'd like suggestions. Sometimes we can get you some Chicago love with the connections we have, whether it be certain bars, restaurants or reservations to popular restaurants or table service at some of the swanky night clubs. Anything we can do to make your time in Chicago as enjoyable as possible, we'll do.
I'm usually bouncing in and out of the apartment throughout the day. Most often I will be the one to let you in and answer any questions you may have. There may be sometimes I'll have you meet at my bar. I'm always around to throw suggestions your way about food and entertainment in Chicago. There's an abundance of goodness here.
My place is just far enough away from the "action" to be quiet & peaceful, but .5 mile from all sorts of distractions! You choose.

We are familiar with the popular tourist destinations and can point you in the right direction or give advice if you want to get off the grid. We our here if you want to sit down and socialize or if you prefer to stay in your room. It's all good with us. Your trip is about you, so please do what makes you happy.
We recently have adopted a dog. Her name is Geneva and is an extremely friendly dog. We can definitely lock her in our rooms if she becomes too much. For the most part, she keeps to herself but will say hi.
One of the most sincere forms of respect is actually listening to what another has to say. Common sense abounds. For starters, please do your best and have no shoes on the floor. Absolutely no parties. Which also means no guest other than you. No smoking indoors(back porch or stoop). I'm happy to accommodate your request within reason (food, drink, noise level, etc) It's a small building and I want to make sure I'm respecting my neighbors space as well as my own. Help yourself to the kitchen, just clean up for yourself. Pets need an approval before we agree and must get along with other dogs.
Please leave the door to your room slightly ajar when you're not around to let the airflow in and so I know I do not have to tiptoe around to avoid disturbing you.
I'm originally from Southern California and Phoenix. Been in Chicago for 7 years now. I have always been interested in showing hospitality to others. Before Airbnb this was mostly done by inviting friends and others over to my home for dinner or cocktails....but I find it equally rewarding to be able to host a traveler and know that my home was an influence on their trip.
With my vast traveling around the globe, mostly in Europe, I can not wait to meet people from all over the world. A future project of mine is to open a B&B..... here's to making it come true. I love to seek and believe there is something about being traveling that unites people together.
I'm passionate in meeting new people and I`ll be happy in hosting you in my home and will make sure you have a relaxing and pleasant stay.
Look forward to meeting you!
P.S. I adopted an extremely friendly dog!
