Before I begin the review, my stay here was on the heels of a three-city stay with the other two Airbnb being impeccable. Also, I did not attempt to contact Ylenia with any of these issues, so she wasn't given the chance to rectify anything. Given those two caveats...
At this price, I wasn't expecting anything spectacular. But rather than being a bargain, this house falls under the 'you get what you pay for' umbrella. To begin, check-in instructions were too vague (we were told Intercom 10, but there were two 10 buzzers (A10 and B10). Checking in at 10:30pm, I didn't like risking ringing the wrong buzzer. Once we were in, however, we were greeted warmly and given a brief tour of the apartment.
I'm giving this apartment two stars because it is very affordable, has a private bathroom, a private terrace, and air conditioning. That is exactly what you're paying for when you stay here. The apartment, specifically the kitchen and the bathroom were not clean--dirty, in fact. The kitchen sink looked as though it hadn't been cleaned in months. There were ants crawling around the kitchen counter. The coffee makers were covered in grease and still had grounds from the previous guest. The shower was quite moldy, though it had great water pressure and we only had an issue with hot water once (honestly, if I had seen pictures of the shower, I may not have booked this apartment). The WiFi was incredibly spotty, working maybe 45% of the time, at the most. Unfortunately, it was too hot outside for us to even use the terrace (obviously not our host's fault), so that took away from the value quite a bit. The air conditioning, especially in July, was a lifesaver.
So, to reiterate, stay here if you're looking for an affordable price, a private bathroom, air conditioning, and a private terrace. If you value cleanliness, you may want to look elsewhere.
