Enjoy your morning coffee under the great oaks or poolside after you awaken from a night slumbering in one of the two large and well-equipped guest rooms. Both sun-filled rooms feature full-size comfortable beds, and share a bath.
Enjoy all Georgetown has to offer with the comfort and convenience of staying in a home. Friday night live music at the town square, shopping, and dining are all within a 5 minute drive. The outlet mall is 5 minutes in the other direction, and downtown Austin is a 30 minute drive down the interstate.
Since I have 2 guest bedrooms, it is possible for guests to rent both, if a family or group of friends, etc. If you would like to book 2 rooms you will need to indicate that you are a party of 3 or 4, and that will trigger that you want two rooms. If you are 2 people who simply want separate rooms, still do this. (Please ask if you have questions and I can walk you through it.) In addition, there is a 3rd guest room/office with a single bed, available to larger groups.
With prior approval only (no instant books) the entire house MAY be available. This would provide beds for 7 guests.
NOTE- Even though I have multiple guest rooms, I would not accept a booking from, for example Joe in Dallas and also Mary and her family from Vegas. They would all need to be a family/group of friends wanting to be together. You will never be sharing space of any kind with strangers.
You'll have access to the entire house with the exception of the master suite. If staying for more than a few days, the laundry room is also available. Use of the pool is also included (in season), as are two bikes for your explorations.
I can mingle as much or as little as desired. I teach, so I am out the door pretty early during the week. During the week, check-in needs to be after 4 p.m. (after school), but Saturday and Sunday check-in times are flexible.
This is a two-story home and all bedrooms are upstairs. Two miniature dachshunds live here too. They will bark a greeting to you, and after meeting you, will be your best friend if you so desire. If you're not a dog person, then just say hello and ignore them after that.
No smoking anywhere, in or out. Other than that, normal household courtesies apply...just like staying at your favorite aunt's house! Clean up your messes, be quiet when others are sleeping, etc. With prior conversation, a small dog may be permitted, provided it likes other canines and is housebroken.
