Spacious 3 bedroom, 2 bath Spanish Revival home with a worldly ambience. French encaustic tile floors in the kitchen and dining area reminiscent of travels to Morocco, Brazil, and Cuba. Wooden floors throughout. The house's peaceful, rustic ambience is welcome after a day or night out on the town, whether it be Pasadena or nearby Los Angeles.
We like to live green, so there are Toto low flush toilets, a compost pile, and a clothes line. The master bedroom and kitchen are plastered with earthy American Clay. There is also a bike, and nearby mountain trails for hiking. The backyard is enclosed, and has lemon, pomelo, and peach trees. There is parking for two vehicles. There is a PackNPlay for the little one.
Guests have stayed at Cosmopolitan Casa to attend games and golf tournaments at the Rose Bowl, the Breeder's Cup at Santa Anita Race Track, graduations at Fuller and Occidental, Curiosity's Mars Landing at JPL, weddings and funerals, Thanksgiving and Christmas. Nearby Temple City offers $15 foot massages, Korean spas are in Korea Town, and good restaurants with authentic foods from Ethiopian to Thai to Dim Som are all within reasonable distance from the house. Walt Disney Concert Hall has free tours daily, and the LA Phil conductor Gustavo Dudamel of Venezuela is not to be missed. Summertime offers numerous venues for live outdoor music every night of the week in Pasadena and Los Angeles.
If you love multicultural experiences, art, shopping, and football/soccer, then Pasadena is for you. Pasadena is the only city that has a green canopy from satellite photos. We have the most beautiful trees around. The Gold Line takes you down to Union Station and beyond.
I also offer rentals by the room for $125/night. In this case, I remain in the house.
