This central, modern apartment suits couples, groups and families.

It's a short 5 min walk from the Grassmarket and Royal Mile with restaurants, cafes, supermarkets and bus routes close by.

Parking: Although not a designated space, there is free street parking directly behind the apartment and metered parking available at the front.

We have enjoyed managing this holiday let for 6 years now. We hope you'll love it, too.


The apartment is fully equipped for up to four adults plus one baby.

There's one double bedroom with zip/link beds (can be king size or twin), a double sofa bed (200cmx117cm) in the living room and cot and highchair.

There are two roomy fitted wardrobes and a hall cupboard for suitcase storage.

Gas, electricity, towels and linen are all included in the price. Washing up liquid, dishtowels, loo rolls and washing machine tablets will also be provided.


The entire apartment is available for your private use. It is one of 9 apartments in a quiet, modern, well lit tenement.


I manage the apartment remotely which means I won't have the pleasure of meeting you personally. Instead, I use a professional concierge service to ensure you have everything you need during your stay.

Check in will be arranged in advance so you have no fear of delayed flights or late arrivals and can come and go as you please.

Please respect the apartment and the other residents of the apartment block. Edinburgh is a great party city so leave the parties outside the apartment. The other residents of the building are in regular contact with us and deposits will be withheld if there are complaints.

We understand that accidents happen but excessive staining of linen, towels or flooring will also result in a partial deposit withholding. Make up and fake tan stains especially will not be tolerated.

Please take out the rubbish and close the windows as you leave.

Wonderful location!!!! Very close to the old center and just steps away from the Arthur's Seat Magic Mountain. Great value for the money. Definitely much better than staying at the hotel; Susie provided great communication and resolving of some small misunderstandings. Great for families with kids and other adventurers.

Me and three friends stayed at Susie's apartment and were very pleased with the accommodations. Susie was a great host, and she made sure we had all the resources needed for the apartment and the area.

Our stay was great! The apartment was in an awesome location and we were able to walk to any site we wanted to see. The apartment was clean and spacious. The host provided us with details on getting to the apartment and getting keys very promptly. We would definitely recommend to a friend!

Let me preface this by saying that this was our first Airbnb stay so this was all uncharted waters for us. Susie's Pleasance Street flat is located in a vibrant neighborhood close to the University of Edinburgh and Holyrood Park. It is a very easy walk to Old Town/Royal Mile, Princes Street, Waverley Train Station, numerous restaurants (great Greek cafe across the street,) grocery stores, etc. The neighborhood is well served by public transportation as well if walking is not your thing. Icing on the cake is free parking in the back and the view out the back window of Salisbury Crags. We unfortunately did have a problem with the bed linens and bath towels which were either badly stained which we found to be unacceptable. To Susie's credit she was very apologetic when we contacted her and she did arrange for all the linens to be completely replaced which was done by the time we returned from eating an early dinner. After speaking with Susie we were left with the impression that she probably needs to check up on her cleaning crew to make certain the work she contracted for is being done. Despite the problem if you are looking to be immersed in Edinburgh life for a period of time then this is the place for you!

Very nice apartment in a quite, but central location, with a great view. It was within walking distance to everything we wanted to see. The apartment was lovely, clean, and felt like home. Susie provided us with a lot of great information about the area and amenities that we might need during our stay. She checked in to make sure we were settled and had everything we needed and was very accommodating. Thanks for a great stay!
