Prime location in the centre of the beautiful village of Currie, enjoying the ambience of the countryside but close enough to explore the city centre. The house has - Luxury sitting room with 42" LCD TV with sky sports.High speed WiFi (URL HIDDEN) one king size and one double bedroom. Bathroom/shower.New modern kitchen/dining area. Garden to front and views of Pentland Hills great for cycling and fishing .Excellent local Inns,pubs.shops and coffee shops. Frequent bus service to the city centre.


Easy access 20 minutes to Edinburgh city centre.
Heriot Watt University and the Orium Sports Complex within 10 Minutes walking distance and 2 Minutes by car.
Edinbugh Airport 8 minutes by car/taxi.
Gastro Inn ,sports bar and local shops and takeaway restaurants all within easy walking distance.
Easy access to the Pentland Hills for walkers,mountain bikers and fishermen.

Listing suggests that home is entirety which it is but it's also attached to the family home. Lounge wall is very thin therefore hear host in kitchen making meals and on telephone. Otherwise home is private quiet upstairs. Fresh towels for daily use would be a bonus. Home is quite far out so recommend only if you have car and maybe a bit pricey for this location even in peak periods. Otherwise it was a bed and clean premises. No laundry facilities so short term only.

Terrific hosts. Greeted us curbside and helped insure parking for our Motorhome. The location was super quiet and very handy to catch the bus into Edinburgh. They offered valuable guidance for touring in other areas of Scotland and road conditions for the Isle of Skye that came in very handy. We so appreciated our Airbnb experience with Fiona and her husband. Highly recommend their lodging.

Fiona's flat is located in a tranquil neighborhood with very easy street parking. It is nice to come back home after being in the crowded city during the day. The front garden is beautiful. The rooms are clean and cozy with lots of storage space. We stayed in the flat for four nights and really enjoyed our stay. Fiona has always been quick in communicating. I would recommend anyone who comes to Edinburgh to stay here!

We had a wonderful time staying flat. The two bedrooms upstairs were lovely. The TV room downstairs with the couches was a great place to hang out and spend time together. The kitchen was basic but had everything that we needed. The house was about 20 minutes from the city of Edinburgh but it was wonderful to drive through the beautiful countryside. Fiona was very accommodating and responsive to our needs. Overall the flat provided a very nice weekend getaway for us as students from Oxford.

Lovely 2 bedroom house located in the Edinburgh suburb of Currie - handy for local amenities like bars, restaurants, bakery and post office - also handily located for 44 bus route into Edinburgh, as well as train station which serves West Lothian and into Glasgow. The house itself was spotless, with 2 very comfortable bedrooms (the mattress was a dream!). Fiona regularly messaged during the booking process and was there to personally great us at check in. Really good value, accommodating host with a charming property. Thanks again x

Fiona' s place was well located for us as we wanted to do some walking in the Pentland hills. It's easy to access from the centre by bus. It is clean and spacious, and has good amenities in and around it.

Thanks Fiona, house was nice and clean and perfect for our stay, being close by to our family. All the amenities we needed and lots of communication so we knew what was going on. Highly recommended and good value for money.
