I am sorry to hear this feedback on the review page, and not in person, when it was happening and I could have attended to it. I explained that the dishes soaked daily, and then I washed them & drained them in the dishwasher when I'm here alone. They were NOT the same dishes at the end of the week.
Also, I'd just cleaned out my son's home & refrigerator, to help them, as they'd moved suddenly to Colorado for a job the few days before Evan needed a place to stay. So, there were some extra food items that weren't usually in my fridge. However . . .
If Evan had said ANYTHING AT ALL to me, I certainly would have taken steps to clean the excess items out of the refrigerator & begun to use the dishwasher. He indicated that he planned to eat lunch at work, and many nights he was gone to eat with friends. I sincerely didn't realize it was even a problem.
I washed the dishes & cleaned the counter off every single day. He wasn't as good about cleaning his own dishes up, so perhaps he's thinking of the pans and dishes he used and left soaking?
It is my fondest wish to make my guests happy with their stay. When someone continually says that everything is great, I don't worry about it, esp when I'm busy. Please always give honest feedback or make requests to the host when she is able to do something about it - not after the fact. Thanks for the feedback.
