Very stylish apartment in the heart of Southbank, overlooking Crown Casino. Only a short walk to the Yarra River, South Wharf, South Melbourne and into the heart of the city.

The apartment houses 2 large bed rooms with 2 bathrooms and aircon in both rooms.

Our apartment is on a high floor of the building. Check out the photos to get an understanding of how high up the apartment is. The apartment has fantastic floor to ceiling windows in the living room and both bedrooms, with a partial view of the Yarra river from the living room.

Please note: our apartment is not a glorified hotel room at a cheap price. This is a private apartment. If your expectations are that of staying in a hotel, you may wish to look else where. We are genuine and gracious hosts, who own the apartment , we love looking after great people, genuine guests wanting to stay in a private home.

Driving: The best way to gain access to Whiteman St, is from the City Rd end, not Clarendon St. This is because you cannot turn right from Clarendon St, into Whiteman St.

Airport (taxi and skybus): it's about 30min drive from the airport by taxi to our apartment and about 20-30min by skybus to Southern Cross Station. From there, it's a short 10min walk across the river along Spencer St and Clarendon St to the apartment.

PLEASE let us know when you are planning on arriving. This is because there are specific details we need to show you about gaining access and using the keys to the building. Unfortunately we cannot hold keys at the concierge desk, so we will be at the apartment to greet you for check in.

Car park: There have been new changes made to the car park. We cannot give you access to the car park under any circumstances until we have greeted you and shown you around first. We need to show all guests around the apartment and the building and the car park first and not beforehand, under any circumstances.

Please park on Whiteman St firstly. Whiteman St is busy, but you can find generally find a park in the street, the loading zones and the streets that run behind and parallel to Whiteman St.

Check in will take between 15min to 30min.

When you arrive and ONLY once we have shown you around, we will give you access to the apartment and the keys to the car park.

The car park access is on Whiteman St (remote only access). There is only 1 car space for the apartment, unfortunately no further parking available in the building.

Please note, we do include a cleaning fee to help maintain a clean homely apartment for our guests. The fee is there so guests can respectfully take care of their tidiness (i.e. not leaving the apartment in a full mess and complete untidiness). Please respect our home and rules.

This place was fantastic the views from the main bedroom was incredible, short walk to Crown Promenade where I had a seminar, check in and check out was easy, car space was great. Would deff stay again.

This space is beautiful and Phil/Hayley are tremendous hosts. Phil let us in a little early to drop off our bags and give recommendations. His recommendations were fantastic for new-comers to Australia/Melbourne. They had coffee and milk in the fridge for later and an espresso machine which definitely helped with the early mornings and jet lag. The rooms both had bathrooms which was great for our stay as it was business and we didn't want to share a bathroom. The view was blocked by another building but you could still see some great spots with the apartment's MASSIVE windows. The location was close to the convention center, everything was pretty walkable, and you could grab a free tram within a 5 minute walk or a paid tram within a 2 minute walk.

Hayley and Phil were the perfect hosts and their apartment was exactly as described and pictured. Leading up to my arrival, they were prompt in all communications, helpful, and accommodating to my needs and schedule. The apartment was beautiful, stylish, well-appointed, and would make a perfect base to explore Melbourne. The building is directly in front of a tram stop, but the apartment is so close to the CBD and places of interest that most will easily walt to destinations. I spent six nights here and would return in a heartbeat!

I stayed at Hayley and Phil apartment for a week. The overall experience was comfortable and relaxing. The location is supper, 5' walk to the Melbourne convention center and also the free tram zone. Very close to many good restaurants and supper markets, 10-20' walk or tram. The Internet is reasonable fast, the pool is clean and mostly empty for early hour and night. The apartment is very clean, beautifully designed, decorated and well-equipped as posted. I meet Hayley. She is fantastic, very friendly and accommodative. These are very kind people as they are very responsive to my questions and have let me stay longer after the checked out time so that I don't have to drag my luggage around town while waiting for flight. Btw, there is a luggage holding area at the southern station, 5' walk, 5' tram from the apartment, 12-14 AUD per 24h. Ill definitely stay here again for next visits.

The apartment is conveniently located accessible to metro, casino, shopping, foods etc. It's clean and well equipped with everything we need for the stay. The host are wonderful. We really enjoyed in staying in the apartment.

Fabulous apartment with great city views. This was our first Airbnb booking but won't be our last thanks to Hayley and Phil. They made our experience effortless, offering excellent communication and a high standard of accommodation.

We love to travel, meet new people, cook and entertain. Most importantly we LOVE life.

Date: 02/04/2013 - not an April fools phone call, but a guest who stayed over the Easter break called me personally. They wanted to thank me and tell me what a great time they had and how much they enjoyed staying at my place. I was truly touched.

We hope everyone who stays in our stylish apartment has a lovely and relaxing time away.
