Contemporary, stylish, open plan living within a pretty Victorian property, complete with airy glass-roofed kitchen extension opening via bifold doors directly onto a pretty decked garden.
Large double, with modern wet room.
The largest of two double rooms is offered, with sole use of modern wet room and toilet. Lots of light floods in through two windows onto white painted floorboards.
It comes with a double bed, bags of built in storage, and the newest technology in hexagonal pocket, energy saving black out and voile blinds - designed for warmth in winter and cool privacy in summer. All decorated in neutral colours, and with a pretty butterfly laser cut lamp shade.
The property is in a quiet one way street, has parking, convenient for shops, cafes, bus, 2 overgrounds and Victoria Line. It lies 100 strides from Lloyd Park (handy for visiting pets and kids, tennis and hanging out), where the William Morris Museum (last picture), and two cafes are also located. We are also just 10 minutes cycle from Walthamstow marshes and the canal network which winds down to London Fields, Victoria Park, Canary Wharf and across to Paddington. The newly renovated Bell Pub, CAMRA East London Pub of The Year 2015 is just 5 minutes walk away.
I am a chatty, multi-faceted lady who is always up for an adventure; not easily defined by occupation, or age. My interests fall around art, music, fitness, cycling, nutrition, cooking, wildlife/ ecology, gardening and design.
There is Sky broadband and a 32" flatscreen TV with a documentary package if.
I like to spend a bit of time with you so that you will feel comfortable in my home.
Suitable for someone who values a clean, smart and sociable environment.
You will be given a shelf in the fridge, can cook in the kitchen and either eat in the garden, kitchen, or dining room (no food upstairs). The kitchen opens out through bifold doors directly onto the decked garden. There is a small table and armchairs, but also a vintage, industrial beer keller table set we can use for more formal garden dining. You are also welcome to join me in the lounge. I have a 32 inch flatscreen TV and Sky documentary package, but you will have to pay for any downloads.
If you prefer I can provide a full organic breakfast menu, and cook meals for you - at additional cost. I run a supper club, so the quality of the meals shouldn't be questionable. I also train as a natropathic nutritionalist, so can make healing juices and smoothies if you need a pick me up.
There is even a BBQ if you want to ask me about using that. When I'm not there use the whole space apart from my room and its en suite bathroom.
All I ask is that you don't cook any smoky food as it travels round the house as its open plan. Also that you wash up, wipe down and put things away immediately after you eat.
Occasionally I run a Supperclub from the house (12 - 20 guests come to dine). You will not be able to cook in the kitchen, but if one should take place when you stay, but you will be given notice - and of course invited to join in the fun!
Strictly no smoking.
No parties, or guests without written consent of the host.
You MUST dead lock the door when you leave if no-one else is in the house, and shut all windows.
"Shoes off" / no stiletto policy to minimise noise, and damage to the wooden floors.
All glasses, cups and plates (hot or cold) MUST go on a mat on the dining table, and on the teak wall units, or bedroom units.
Antique, and irreplaceable crystal glasses in the teak units are not to be used by guests.
Teak Wall units and radiators are not designed to be sat, or leaned on, or any forward leaning weight applied to them - they could fall.
Advise all breakages/ damages to the host before leaving. These must paid for.
Any bicycles must be locked outside, not kept in the garden.
I will be here living in the house. I can give any useful tips about visiting London, travel and local amenities.
I am also an experienced Fitness Professional (15 years). I have two sets of free weights, yoga mats and Swiss Balls. If you would like a private training session, Body Pump, poledancing, yoga/tai chi or pilates class we can arrange that during your stay. You can ask me about my rates.
